Another beaten up oil junior starting to bounce (CHAR)

kate bates - 02 Apr 2009 13:29

Don't like doing threads but have been alerted to this one as it trades well below cash position and allegedly has directorate links with the massive Petrobas. Last broker target was something like 165p - currently 26! The bates is in.

what about funding they have 10 mill left tops, they keep hyping the size of the fields up with out even drilling.......its a bubble and its going to get popped.

cynic - 13 Jan 2011 14:46 - 362 of 474

TossA will PROVE to you that you are just a total and utter imbecile to hold such beliefs - or at least until he decides the facts he propounds have changed

TopAnalyst - 13 Jan 2011 14:50 - 363 of 474

Is that before the retrace to a more realistic 180p, or after?

TopAnalyst - 13 Jan 2011 14:50 - 364 of 474

cynic, all anyone needs, to know the depths of your investment prowess, is a proctologist.

cynic - 13 Jan 2011 14:55 - 365 of 474

those jerusalem artichokes really are giving you a bad case of wind ..... try taking some slippery elm

TopAnalyst - 13 Jan 2011 14:58 - 366 of 474

slippery elm? beats your job of sucking a fishermans friend LOL!!

cynic - 13 Jan 2011 15:10 - 367 of 474

ain't as good as sucking the fisherman, especially if he's been at sea a few days

hlyeo98 - 13 Jan 2011 15:25 - 368 of 474

Oh, cynic, you certainly have experience on that one.

cynic - 13 Jan 2011 15:26 - 369 of 474

Prospective Resources = Pie in the sky and will remain pie in the sky until CHAR get on with some drilling. Even then, the prospective resources (meaning chance of discovery) will only become Contingent Resouces (meaning chance of development) if they find something and then possibly Reserves (meaning chance of commerciality).

I guess CHAR can declare prospective resoucres to thier hearts content, but they haven't discovered a single barrel.

mitzy - 14 Jan 2011 08:08 - 371 of 474

Bob Tyerman tipped these at 27p.

mitzy - 27 Jan 2011 08:41 - 372 of 474

amazing ability to rise every day.

Rocketing as well.....amount of oil in the ground is mind boggling....10 billion barrels ?....I wish for an immediate spud please .....

mitzy - 03 Mar 2011 09:09 - 374 of 474

Superb.

cynic - 07 Mar 2011 08:19 - 375 of 474

and then you suddenly get whacked by a fairly large discounted placing in which you have no chance of participating .... had be regretting slightly that i did not hold these, but not today

Balerboy - 07 Mar 2011 08:28 - 376 of 474

even so, if your in like mitzy from 20p i doubt if he/she cares.,.

cynic - 07 Mar 2011 08:29 - 377 of 474

The sp will recover.....big fund raising can do this......the amount of possible oil in the ground is mind blowing ; 13 billion barrels....only the Saudis have something like that !.

cynic - 07 Mar 2011 10:03 - 380 of 474

as a layman, i'm pretty suspicious of that "big number" ..... if i understand correctly, that is just the amount they THINK is there but has yet to be proved, and further, the % then recoverable, once anything at all is found, is perhaps 40% of that
