NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Richard, got another possible tip for you, needs a bit of research but 50% of profits to be paid as a dividend. Current forecast is 29.5p profit but could end up as high as 100p. Floated mid May at 145p, now 229p. On a pe of 10 you could be looking 500 to 1000p within a year or so, MDM. Sorry off thread buy worth a look.

I am not yet invested in MDM yet but am looking to buy if it retraces a bit.

cynic - 03 Jun 2008 10:47 - 369 of 1373

thanks young man ..... Toya (i think) also suggested MDM to me ..... need to look at liquidity etc, and will post accordingly.

fyi, have rashly retaken the plunge in HAWK at 103

Toya - 03 Jun 2008 13:38 - 370 of 1373

How nice of you to think of me Cynic, even when t'was not I who'd mentioned it. Didn't actually know about MDM till Oily mentioned it - thanks for pointing it out; will keep an eye on it.

As for HAWK: just not sure when to get back in.

cynic - 03 Jun 2008 13:44 - 371 of 1373

when it's too late!

Toya - 03 Jun 2008 13:51 - 372 of 1373

When it's below 100p I think

oilyrag - 03 Jun 2008 13:57 - 373 of 1373

It is now.

oilyrag - 03 Jun 2008 14:05 - 374 of 1373

Toya, this may be your chance as a lot of investors seem to be selling. Tomorrow is the day for reserving Oseola shares on an IPO and as this is another D Bramhill company, with intrests in coal bed methane, this may be why some are selling. HAWK is still one of the best investments in my opinion.

Toya - 03 Jun 2008 14:07 - 375 of 1373

Thanks Oily - back in at under my 100p target.

scotinvestor - 04 Jun 2008 10:58 - 376 of 1373

u jinxed this share cynic since u bought? i seen whats happened to tan when u bought

scotinvestor - 06 Jun 2008 16:55 - 377 of 1373

there is a new broker target which gives price of 171p.
also, sp creeped up today.....and oil predicted to be 150$ soon.

few months time and i'm sure this will see big spike up to 2 quid

cynic - 06 Jun 2008 17:26 - 378 of 1373

on that basis, you should also short HAWK - lol!

halifax - 06 Jun 2008 17:41 - 379 of 1373

Opinion on CNBC Power Lunch suggests oil price will tank next week following rising unemployment/inflation numbers and likely interest rate increases.

scotinvestor - 06 Jun 2008 17:59 - 380 of 1373

power lunch, lol

scotinvestor - 06 Jun 2008 18:00 - 381 of 1373

gordon brown says employment levels r still good, inflation is less than 3% or no worse.....and interest rates are stable.

what a great guy gordon is, lol

andysmith - 06 Jun 2008 22:53 - 382 of 1373

Gordan is an asshole who is ruining this country, real inflation on things we have to buy is >10%, he's getting extra 3.5p/litre vat on fuel but says he cant help.
He robbed our pensions when economy he inherited was good. Now things are not so rosy its not his fault but the country is mortgaged to the hilt, he's given back some tax after robbing from the low earners and BOE cant reduce interest rates cos GB wants a letter if inflation goes over 3%. Immigration out of control, billions wasted on Management Consultants and an illegal war.
I travel with my job and they the world is laughing at this muppet, go NOW you self-obsessed, power crazed tax maniac.

andysmith - 06 Jun 2008 22:54 - 383 of 1373

Still, HAWK has doubled for me and I have high hoped for IVE and RIFT!!!

scotinvestor - 07 Jun 2008 01:08 - 384 of 1373

halifax

oil price is now 138.5$.....!!!!!

also, israel attacks on iran on news headlines say it is INEVITABLE!!! hence, oil will go much higher....it forecasts 150$ by next month

even if oil dies slip back which i doubt, in long run, oil price is going MUCH HIGHER IN FUTURE.

well done andy by the way.....as i say, new broker report has target at 171p and i believe after relative quiet for month or so that hawk will break out again soon once we get positive news.

have a nice weekend all

gibby - 08 Jun 2008 17:07 - 385 of 1373

gordon 'couldn't organise a **** in a brothel' brown - he is a control freak but without the control he is just a freak - but he feels for us & listens- ha ha ha!!lol lol lol!! the man is an idiot - his crap policies as chancellor have caught up with him - mr prudent? - lol lol! some of the damage that idiot has done is irreversible - apologies should not go on like that! yep oil on the way up and agree $150 soon esp with Israel /Iran situation, & probs in the US etc i am topping up this week cant see this dropping much lower for now or anytime i hope! - in fact quite the opposite with whats happening with the company & economy - good luck all - nice increase next week?

scotinvestor - 08 Jun 2008 18:49 - 386 of 1373

can we not have a vote of no confidence in this government......i also read that brown has been moving money from rural areas to major cities where labour support is.....top 20 areas for most money r labour, surprise surprise.....and bottom 17 where money is sent from gov is in conservative areas and so these areas have to ramp up council tax......at least snp in scotrland are planning to scrap this dreadful tax.

brown has also been involved why production has plummeted in north sea....now that oil price is so high he is now up in scotland to try and tell us to increase production.......there is no incentive so why bother!! every company is now going abroad as theres less legislation and much less tax.....including 20% tax on profits!!!

thank god hawk is is usa......under mr.bush control, lol

andysmith - 08 Jun 2008 20:58 - 387 of 1373

They also re-arranged boundaries to give more seats in "labour areas".
