I could never understand where all the sceptics came from. But, I guess it soon became clear that they were working on an entirely different game plan.

Isn't it a dirty rotten shame that a good few of them got their fingers burned!

I suppose that the big question now has to be " Where is the share going from here ?"

Part , or maybe most , of the reason for the reason for the recent rise is probably down to the boom in online advertising.

According to figures recently released by the I A B ( Internet Advertising Bureau), the value of online advertising in the U K for 2010 has reached 4.1 billion. This is not far short of the 4.28 billion attributed to TV advertising.

ACQUISITION OF BURST MEDIA CORPORATION

The Boards of blinkx plc (AIM:BLNX), the world's largest video search engine ("blinkx" or the "Company") and Burst Media Corporation (AIM:BRST), the online advertising services and technology business ("Burst") are pleased to announce today that they have entered into a definitive agreement (the "Merger Agreement") pursuant to which blinkx will acquire the entire issued and to be issued shares of common stock of Burst for an aggregate consideration of US$30 million (18.5 million) to be satisfied by the issue of New Blinkx Shares and, for Non-Accredited Investors, in cash (the "Acquisition").

I got free stock from Autonomy and have held them from 64 all the way down and all the way back up, this stock has a lot further to go I see 2 by 2012

Taken profits...perhaps too soon as usual, but this is now a great stock for the future, and a lot of very heavy expenses coming up right now.....and perhaps a fund raising exercise coming up....will come back later as usual....

Blinkx (LON:BLNX) expects to report full year revenue of over US$65 million, an increase of about 90 percent over the previous year, while operating profit is expected to top the current analyst consensus estimates of US$6.7 million. The company said that trading for the second half of the financial year has continued to be strong.
