Nice move up. Now if EKA could just do the same tallsiii :)

tallsiii - 03 Jan 2006 12:24 - 38 of 2087

This one clearly hasn't gained a following yet, given that it can go up by 23% before lunchtime and there are only two of us on here to talk about it.

silvermede - 03 Jan 2006 12:37 - 39 of 2087

tallsiii,

This share caught my eye last week and I'm in as of first thing this morning having done much research over weekend. There is clearly significant upside to this share providing the Neues Bergland permit comes good. Also already in EKA, GGG, GFM, CHP plus others. Thanks also to PapalPower for the excellent previous posts and links.

The thing that all those VOG investors out there do not realise is that this company has 10 times the amount of gas that VOG has. And their market cap is current only 1 tenth of VOG's. That suggests that the market judges there to be a 100 to 1 chance of EME successfully extracting their gas, against VOG extracting theirs.

PapalPower - 03 Jan 2006 13:15 - 41 of 2087

Results are due by Q1 on the seal drilling and thrust zones, so I am thinking this move today is a new year rush, and expecting it to quieten down again before any big move up prior to results. I would expect results to be released in March, but who knows.

AndrewThomson77 - 03 Jan 2006 14:57 - 42 of 2087

I too am interested but hold no shares yet. Am awaiting next news on Germany before deciding to commit or not. At present, without news, VOG is the better bet.

The protected seller is very greatful to all the hype surrounding oil
and gas stocks and would like to thank the small punter for enabling
him to dump many blocks of EME stock at 41-42p instead of the usual
30-35p :-))

Nothing against this stock long term but today all the small punters buying
has let a big holder reduce, online all day you could buy below the mid price.

Shadow - Surely that information is insider dealing and therefore illegal. You posting it makes you party to the insider dealing.
Might be worth doing yourself a favour and remove the post before those chaps at the FSA ring MoneyAM up and ask for your details.

Shadow,

What a blatent de-ramp, unless you have foundation for your statement I suggest you stop issuing dribble and also stop posting on AD*** as you are trying to influence people which I would suggest is illegal as significant amounts of money may well be involved.

This is latest drilling report, an RNS should be issued tomorrow about the current position.

This notice is to do with a small USA well, not the huge gas deposit in Germany?

cleverclogs - 04 Jan 2006 19:56 - 50 of 2087

nkirkup,

They have more than one project.

From their website-

Eagle Oil Pool Development Project (USA)
Empyrean Energy Plc has secured a farm-in agreement with Australian Stock Exchange quoted Victoria Petroleum NL to earn a 38.5% working interest in the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project in the San Joaquin Basin California.

Steep rise this morning, this could be due to the german gas drilling operations due to be completed by the end of this week.

nkirkup - 11 Jan 2006 12:53 - 52 of 2087

Great day, but still a large seller as the sp rises, when he has finished the sky's the limit with this stock.

PapalPower - 11 Jan 2006 13:40 - 53 of 2087

A nice intraday chart :)

Empyrean Energy says drilling started at Eagle North-1 appraisal well
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Empyrean Energy PLC said drilling has started at the Eagle North-1 appraisal well in the San Joaquin Basin, California.

The AIM-listed company said the well, operated by Victoria Petroleum USA Inc, is to be drilled adjacent to a previous discovery well for oil and associated gas and is expected to take approximately 14 days to reach maximum depth in the vertical stage.

Empyrean has the right to earn a 38.5 pct working interest in the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project.

A statement from the company said an independent expert has estimated that the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project could contain a P50 (probability 50 pct unrisked) reserve of 7.1 mln barrels of recoverable oil and 12.3 bln cubic feet of associated gas, with the P10 assessment estimated at 22.7 mln barrels of oil and 22.7 bln cubic feet of associated gas.

Bought these for 42p on 3rd Jan, must confess to being a bit nervous as still hig-risk and spend alot of time travelling with work & this week set a stop-loss.
Glad it wasn't triggered. Question is will these fall back to allow top-ups & why so many trades when there are supposed to be few shares available.
