Petrofac - service supplier to oil/gas industry (PFC)

cynic - 31 Jul 2006 16:46

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=PFC&Si

On 3rd July PFC announced that it was trading well ahead of expectations. Not surprisingly, sp jumped but has now fallen back pretty much to the same level as before the announcement.

While perhaps not as exciting as finding the next Cairn, remember that in the goldrush days, it was rarely the prospectors who made the money, but rather the suppliers of the spades and tents and stuff - e.g. Levis if memory serves me aright.

oh dear .... not only more pathetic abuse, but not even on the correct thread!

Stan - 18 Sep 2012 16:03 - 373 of 839

Bitten the bullet and bought a few, going Ex Divi tonight paying 13.45p.

cynic - 18 Sep 2012 16:24 - 374 of 839

better company than LAM, whatever our serial abuser may say!

magicjoe - 18 Sep 2012 17:11 - 375 of 839

re - divi of 13.45p

that is well under 1% at 1643p

the shares should retrace to 1525p or about on this routine up and loosing 2/3 of the gain.
naturaly the Indicators are at overbought, so someone is going to loose a mint before getting the divi.
The ramper ( with dirty BIG mouth ) is in a bad spell as usual but needs friends to support his ego

take notice
I have not charge you for the - expert - advise

edit- typping mistake p instead of %

cynic - 18 Sep 2012 17:58 - 376 of 839

i shall watch with equanimity ..... charts certainly have their uses as i would be the first to admit, but a guarantee of result, they assuredly are not

indeed, i think i am correct in saying that you had all sorts of charting research to "prove" that BATM and Jessops were racing certainty humdingers, whereas both actually evolved into stinkers ..... no doubt these were not freak anomalies either, when posting under MRSI or one of your several other aliases

even warren buffett gets it wrong from time to time, and in that league of success you do not even get within waving let alone sniffing distance of the first rung - and nor do i of course

Stan - 18 Sep 2012 18:40 - 377 of 839

"re - divi of 13.45%

that is well under 1% at 1643p"... Correct and better in my account then not. Also your assessment is flawed as I already have the dividend and recovery will happen IMHO.. So there.. sucks boo to you -):

magicjoe - 18 Sep 2012 22:27 - 378 of 839

well wrong on your side,
divi will take time to be yours, tomorrow will be X- divi, meaning the share price will take a dive of that amount at the start.

You " stand " alone on the lack of knowledge and .............

.........Don't try to teach your Grandma to suck eggs

re - flawed

flawed is your timimg, and that is what my post was about, but it seems you did not realised.

mind my words for tomorrow and next days, and see who the ultimate fool is

Stan - 18 Sep 2012 23:57 - 379 of 839

"well wrong on your side,
divi will take time to be yours" Irrelevant oh bean.. but the key word is "yours".. so you are at least correct in saying that.

"meaning the share price will take a dive of that amount at the start." possibly so.. but as you rightly say the Divi is "already mine".

Thank you for your concern Granny.. And goodnight.

magicjoe - 19 Sep 2012 10:40 - 380 of 839

thanks for the Granny compliment and I will make a JOKE out of it at your expenses ........

Granny takes on the fools and wins all the time

the proof is on the eating not putting words on someone's mouth ,

divi not yours, but will be when paid to you long way yet, you will have to pay for the trade well before ( they take your money and then later they pay you back)

see below my say yesterday and right so it happen this morning

Is good to reach a conclution

who is telling porkies
who belief the liar

and who is putting - dots - on top of the - i -

btw you do not need to follow what is going on here and move to .....

...... tea room

or go to what people say mad house ........ talk to yourself

HARRYCAT - 19 Sep 2012 12:00 - 383 of 839

This is the PFC thread so was expecting to see some interesting comments on this stock, which is why I have a look, not to see you coming out with the same rubbish every single day. But of course, you just can't help having the last word every time, even if it is the same old cr*p. And if you learnt to spell correctly you might get a bit more interest, though I doubt it. What the hell is a 'lier'?
Try putting it into the link below and see if you get a result. Duh!

you will find the crap you say, should be done on the toilet hole not all over the place and specially not on the walls. (1)

(1) painting should be done with a fine brush, not with your fingers

You will find some words, can be taken by little girls as ofensive and as you know not able to say on the house of commons, but as you do not mind I have edited.

you may find this place of not much interest to anybody specially high society like you.

blamy, if you think I am going to spent time if I spell it correctly or mis spell anything over here, you must be more of a nutter than at ..... talk to yourself thread.

note - I do not go through my posting once type, but I may change it later if a big mistake is done after .... HARRY say so.

re - This is the PFC thread so was expecting to see some interesting comments on this stock

I forgot to tell you that my prediction of the share price moving lower, so far is on the right path, you should have done a SHORT and you would be on the money.

Was 1643p is now 1622p

Do not forget I do not charge for the right advise, others charge for the wrong one

Timing is all, and no one over here can beat me at it, but open to offers for any one willing to clean my black shoes

magicjoe - How about sharing your genius. What is your entry, target and stop on this short trade?

cynic - 19 Sep 2012 21:24 - 388 of 839

Chris (+ Stan and others) - don't ask silly questions .... MJ aka MRSI and a couple of other aliases too, is only an expert at being an uncouth lout into whom his mother or father should have knocked some manners at an early age .... clearly they did not .... he has already been thrown off this site 2 or 3 times for being an aggressively obnoxious and personally abusive little toe-rag, so with luck his life here may yet again be short-lived

magicjoe - 20 Sep 2012 10:07 - 389 of 839

re - silly questions

another 22p down to 1600p now

BIG mouth spoken and made a mess of it again

Let me explain Sunbeam, Trading or Investing is about "playing the market" and not "playing each other"... Got it?
