Today's RNS is a profit warning; average production of 151 bopd during the previous six months will have a significant impact on revenues and therefore operations going forward. Don't forget EOG recently stated future exploration costs would be supported by income, without which, a return to the market for additional funds would be likely.

Interesting you have picked up on a honest error but continually fail to sanction TAs increasingly outrageous ramping posts. For example the lost revenue experienced during the last six months. It is no secret EOG are targeting 500 bopd, so you could state the reduced production is actually:

349 bopd at $85.64 = $5,439,681.52

(TAs av Ex rate of $1.57 is also incorrect, during the last six months, four have been above $1.57 and as high as $1.63; for arguments sake Ill use $1.59)

Therefore lost revenues = 3,421,183.35, now that is staggering.

EOG is run on a shoestring and you can bet your last penny, management are running a spreadsheet to measure income against expenditure, especially exploration costs. As we all know 500 bopd is the target and we all know future exploration costs will (hopefully) be funded by revenues, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out they are coming up short.
