Cynic,

I believe this is the pertinent piece form the last RNS!

"The Soyuz pipeline is one of the main gas trunkline systems delivering gas from
Russia to western Europe. The line traverses the Company's licenses
approximately 2.5 km from its field facilities.

Tie-in to this major trunkline will effectively remove any ceiling on gas delivery from the Company's Poltava licences."

aldwickk - 29 Jun 2006 15:54 - 377 of 656

The TDW article says Glengary was acting for a Russian invester but JKX said that they were acting for Russian investers, my not mean all that much.

Well Well

Cracking news and down 4% starting to get used to this type of over reaction after the ROC debacle.

So have I got this right 1 target was perforated that didn`t flow very well could be salvaged through a bit of cracking? while the well still has another target possible 2? and has possible come across a high pressure pocket which we wait patiently for a rig. Another well has been brought on line and we will have the ablility from 2007 to export and we go down. LOL

There was me hopeing this was going to make me rich overnight have to wait till next year then.

Exxon Mobil Corp Oil prices soar to new record above $75

WASHINGTON (AFX) - Oil prices soared to a new record above $75 a barrel on Wednesday, propelled by a rally in gasoline and geopolitical tensions.

A glitch at a Texas refinery on Monday and recent shipping problems along
the Gulf Coast following an oil spill have heightened the market's concern about
motor-fuel supplies at a time when demand continues to rise in spite of rising
prices. The start of a new fiscal quarter also brought more speculative money
into the market, brokers said.

Light sweet crude for August delivery briefly surged to $75.40 a barrel on
the New York Mercantile Exchange before easing back to $75.20, an increase of
$1.27. Gasoline futures jumped by more than 6 cents to $2.284 a gallon. The last
time front-month oil futures settled above $75 was on April 21. The previous
intraday high, also set April 21, was $75.35.

Oil prices are now roughly 26 percent higher than a year ago, but still
below all-time inflation-adjusted highs of around $90.

With global oil demand approaching 85 million barrels per day, traders are
extremely nervous about the possibility of any supply disruptions, especially
because there is less than 2 million barrels a day of spare production capacity,
most of it in Saudi Arabia.

North Korea defied stern warnings from the United States and Japan to launch
six missiles early Wednesday, including a long-range Taepodong-2, which failed
shortly after takeoff. Later Wednesday, the communist nation fired a seventh
missile.

good morning all
Just been reading daily express this morning a small mention of jkx it said jkx deflated 18.5p as enthusiasm that stake building by a fund said to represent well connected Russian interest's may lead to a takeover began to wane. Let's hope it recovers soon. may account for the recent drop

kkeith2000,

Thanks for posting the RNS.

Interesting that the proce of the gas to be supplied is not quoted!

I wonder if it's at the normal Ukraine price?

And if it fixed or spot?

Dr Square - 22 Aug 2006 09:23 - 390 of 656

Morning all

I would hazard that it would be spot prices as what would be the benefit of the deal to JKX as they could get Ukraine prices anyhow.

Seems they have foreward sold just about all thier Gas production for the year???

All in all is it good news? or are Shell trying to get a strangle hold? they have just managed to take control of a further 5% of the domestic gas production?

I have decided to re enter these @2.91 and a few decimals.

Although the bottom is uncertain, I feel this must be close, add the interims soon, (anyone know the date?), and this may well be due a reversal.

Andy - 11 Sep 2006 10:52 - 393 of 656

SWW,

I sold out a while ago to preserve my first ten bagger, and I'm sure glad I did!

I cannot see what is driving the price down, interims are due soon, and I can't imagine they will contiain anything nasty, so shorting would be dangerous IMO.

seawallwalker - 11 Sep 2006 11:42 - 394 of 656

Dont blame you Andy.

I know the mm's love people like me, but I did not like what I saw and sold again on the slight up turn last week.

Nothing wrong with the Company from what I see, like Hardman, I just cant understand this.

I want these, but I dont want the drop.

I may wait for a trend change, as I am with others.

aldwickk - 11 Sep 2006 13:40 - 395 of 656

I sold 30% friday and the rest today.
