EML, Kalahari and uranium stake building ! (EML)

required field - 19 Feb 2009 09:04

This now has a big stake in Kalahari minerals.....and should not be forgotten as the shares are at a discount to assets....will have to follow this one, the only downside is the ridiculous spread !.

cynic - 06 Jan 2010 10:44 - 38 of 73

technically you may be right, but the market begs to differ

niceonecyril - 06 Jan 2010 10:52 - 39 of 73

Opps, is that movement i see?
cyril

cynic - 06 Jan 2010 11:43 - 40 of 73

lots of MMs which is good, but a horribly wide spread even so ..... further, EMS is only 10k shares, which is a total joke

niceonecyril - 06 Jan 2010 13:23 - 41 of 73

Just back in up 18%(12.5% after spread-t/costs) in 2 hours, wish i could call like that every day?
cyril

cynic - 06 Jan 2010 13:24 - 42 of 73

you need to buy 75/100k shares to make a decent profit (or loss) which is very dangerous when EMS is only 10k and all controlled by MMs

Balerboy - 06 Jan 2010 13:40 - 43 of 73

paper or in the bank cyril??

cynic - 06 Jan 2010 13:48 - 44 of 73

you're beginning to sound like me!

niceonecyril - 06 Jan 2010 13:58 - 45 of 73

Bakerboy;it's paper and the reason why is,if you own KAH which i do then same risk applies.Check post 29 to see the relation.
cynic i bought more than 10k, as far as risk it's value had increased but not the SP.The proof's is in the pudding and their for everyone to see?
cyril

cynic - 06 Jan 2010 14:10 - 46 of 73

10k (shares, not ) isn't worth holding

Balerboy - 06 Jan 2010 15:08 - 47 of 73

For immediate release: Friday 19 February 2010

Emerging Metals Limited

("EML", "Emerging Metals" or "the Company")

Statement re: Announcement by Extract Resources

The Directors of Emerging Metals Limited (AIM: EML), the mining company focused
on minor and emerging metals, would like to draw shareholders' attention to an
announcement issued yesterday by Extract Resources Limited ("Extract"), in
which Emerging Metals holds an interest through its 8.53 per cent interest in
AIM-listed Kalahari Minerals Plc ("Kalahari"), Kalahari having a 40.44 per cent
interest in Extract through its subsidiary its Kalahari Uranium Limited. In
this context, Emerging Metals also notes Kalahari's statement of 18 February
2010 also referring to Extract's announcement.

In Extract's statement of 18 February 2010, it announced further "outstanding
chemical assay results" from the Rossing South mineralised system, which is
part of Extract's Husab Uranium project. An abridged version of Extract's
announcement is set out below.

The Directors of Emerging Metals commented:

"EML shareholders will be pleased to see the announcements made yesterday by
Extract and Kalahari. The recent drill results by Extract indicate the
extraordinary potential of Rossing South. There is potential for the deposit to
support a major project which will be strategically important to future
customers vying for the long term supply of U308 as the significant build out
of uranium reactors plays out over the next decade and beyond. Extract is now
deploying 15 drill rigs, and 5 additional rigs focused on exploration targets
outside of the two main zones. The main zones are being intensively drilled.
This may result in the upgrade of the resource to `Indicated' status for
inclusion in the feasibility study, as stated in Extract's release. Of
particular note is the number of higher grade intercepts which could enhance
the project's economics. In view of the very positive progress being made by
Extract and the importance of that company to EML through its strategic holding
in Kalahari, the Directors encourage EML shareholders to continue monitoring
information about Extract and Kalahari."

A full copy of the Extract announcement, including illustrations and
appendices, can additionally be viewed on Extract's website
www.extractresources.com.

Special div of .0713p goes ex div on the 30th. lots of buys today..

robertalexander - 28 Apr 2010 11:03 - 51 of 73

why would a divi of less than a penny cause a 6p drop in SP?
edit got decimal point in wrong place and answered my own question

robertalexander - 28 Apr 2010 11:24 - 52 of 73

if EML are going ex divi for all shareholders on 30th doesn't that mean you woyld have to hold by COB on 29th? the SP has plummeted to take into account the special divi but hasn;t it plummeted too early?

Balerboy - 28 Apr 2010 11:29 - 53 of 73

Director who buys 2 mill didn't do it for nothing....i've filled my boots...mucky bug. ger lol

robertalexander - 28 Apr 2010 11:34 - 54 of 73

am in now only got 6k[shares] bit concerned that everyone else not piling in. the maths suggest a ~4p profit which suggests that we are a day late in buying!!ie should have been in y/day

Balerboy - 28 Apr 2010 11:38 - 55 of 73
