Not sure DC, I'll have to start taking notes! Possibly the pheasants are more plant destructive in my garden at the moment but there is intense competition between the badgers, squirrels and rabbits as to which can dig the most holes!!

Atleast they give you a hand and dig the holes for the plants, if you could train them they would be worth a fortune in the garden industry. ;-))
Are you sure your not living in a zoo. lol. Or perhaps the pheasants are non seed eating in Wales and have taken to plants.

My next door neighbour was bitten by an adder in his garden a few years ago so I am always a bit wary when I go down to the bit which looks like a jungle!

Sorry about all you destructive creatures - what a shame, at least the rats beggered off so I can now enjoy being outside. Bedding plants are so reasonable around here depending on where one goes of course - (not the posh garden centres). We have so many growers in the area and so much competition that if one just goes locally which I have done a very good price can be accomplished. Makes a change. I am have done 8 surfinia hanging baskets for £3.40 each, not including the compost. That is excellent. We should have a range personal out of (range business sight) on here???
