Going live in Q2:-
http://www.bigboxbingo.com/
NetPlay TV are launching Big Box Bingo Q2 2007 - this will be a unique TV and online bingo experience.
The combination of a quality live TV show, marking off bingo cards in your own home, and big cash prizes is a winning combination. With over 70% of UK bingo customers smoking - the smoking ban in July 2007 will, we believe, drive many traditional bingo customers to look for an alternative formof participation.
Once you've joined the bingo club, members receive bingo tickets direct to their home which can then be activated by phone.

Bingo goes on the box
By Geoff Ho
Lottery operator NetPlay is launching a live interactive satellite TV bingo show which could soon end up on ITV1, according to a source close to the company.
The show, dubbed Big Box Bingo, will premiere on Sky channel 157 on Tuesday. Six possible jackpots of 100,000 will be on offer for every show.
Players will receive cards through the post or in newspaper inserts, or they can be downloaded from the website www.bigboxbingo.com.
However, the programme could soon end up on terrestrial TV. Both ITV and Channel 5 have held discussions with NetPlay about broadcasting such a show but are waiting to see how Big Box Bingo performs on Sky before agreeing any deal.
A source close to the discussions said: If this takes off, it could be a prime time show, but they want to see that it works before they commit.
NetPlay chief executive Martin Higginson believes interactive TV bingo will be popular, thanks to the ban on smoking in public places, which comes in today, because it will allow people to light up while they play at home."

I see the newspapers are doing the same thing one line , also some of the bookies . The market for bingo will have to fight for punters . I am watching .

did you watch the show fliper? Looks ideal for prime time Saturday evening viewing.
The large database (800K+ )and an average game cost of 9 make this a possible very profitable cash cow if it takes off.
MH certainly thinks it will be, he upped his stake by another 500K yesterday along with other directors.
Starting a break-out now.

Still on the charge, imagine a major broadcaster deal? what about if they take this thing global, US?
Could be very very lucrative? maybe MECCA or somebody will want to get in on the act?
