Mustn't be much stock kicking about, moving up on every buy. Nothing in the press as yet.

oilyrag - 15 Jan 2008 09:29 - 5 of 183

I suspected that this might happen, all that blue, keep going please. No I'm not begging.

kate bates - 15 Jan 2008 09:44 - 6 of 183

nice tight spread 4.8 - 5p. Marketmakers after stock with 150000 on the bid as opposed to just 50000 on the ask.

oilyrag - 15 Jan 2008 10:16 - 7 of 183

I hate to say it, but I think the rise may be overdone as the mm's are now showing sales at 4.8p as buys, giving a false impression of momentum. I do hope that I'm wrong, but I've seen this many times before.

Toya - 15 Jan 2008 10:25 - 8 of 183

sp already up 50% in last couple of days so I would wait for it to pull back before buying

oilyrag - 15 Jan 2008 10:38 - 9 of 183

Like I said, if they were all purchases, then why should sp turn down.

kate bates - 15 Jan 2008 10:58 - 10 of 183

Tree shake i see, better to take notice of the 175000 buy at 5p and the 3 buys yesterday of nearly 2 million shares at 4.5p - well over the ask. Looks like somebody got the nod to get in.

Coal shortage in China - Government power plants!

Bejing 15.01.2008 (www.emfis.com)

China had now power stations, which for more than 6% of the South China electricity supply are responsible. The reason for this was the shortage of the raw material, coal in the region are not available. In the southern provinces, this is the worst power outage since about 5 years ago. In Guanxi included a power plant with 2.3 gigawatts of energy output, in Guizhou was 4.2 gigawatts of the largest power plant shut down and Yunnan missing by the shutdown of a power plant at least 3.8 gigawatts. From the regions were already some time before aid requests to the central government sent.

China currently generates about 78% of its power with coal, and is therefore for the import of raw material to the world's top concern.

halifax - 15 Jan 2008 21:35 - 15 of 183

Even if the project goes ahead it will be a few years before supplies reach China CDN is poducing now and the price of coking coal is expected to rise to $150 per ton during 2008.

Pimpernel - 14 Feb 2008 16:43 - 18 of 183

A near 19% rise for this stock today and not one comment on this thread. I can only suppose that it is "below the radar" as far as most people are concerned but I think it's well worth looking at, especially after seeing this afternoon's RNS.

Pimpernel - 15 Feb 2008 08:27 - 19 of 183

Yes, moving up nicely now. Glad I got into this one yesterday morning.

oilyrag - 15 Feb 2008 08:34 - 20 of 183

How far, how quickly?

Pimpernel - 15 Feb 2008 08:40 - 21 of 183

Not sure oily but yesterday's news was excellent. This, for my money, is the most interesting stock I've come upon in years.

Pimpernel - 15 Feb 2008 16:49 - 22 of 183

A near 30% rise in the sp over just two trading sessions can't be bad. I just hope we can have some more of the same next week.

Pimpernel - 20 Feb 2008 09:04 - 23 of 183

Rising nicely again today making a near 40% increase in the sp since last Thursday. I have high hopes for this stock.
