Well went in this week, a nice ending to the week. Hopefully if the housing market starts to bottom out and people get more confident on the DIY front then this will continue to rise long term. There will be some dips over rthe next 6-12 months but I see that as buying opportunity.

from the "UPS" thread a bit earlier
SDY 28.675 ( 28.50 / 28.75p )
reason : news today of agreements and adquisition, rising from recent bottom and range 26 / 28p on the chart on a stronger order book

5 Jan'10 - Speedy Hire firms up Middle East agreement
Speedy Hire has signed a five-year strategic services agreement with Al Futtaim Carillion, support services group Carillion's joint venture in the Middle East and North Africa.
The formal agreement follows signing of a memorandum of understanding in July 2009.
The group says the agreement means its International Asset Services Division is on track to deliver exit run rate turnover at March 2010 of more than 10m, in line with previous guidance.
Speedy Hire will become AFC's exclusive provider of light plant and equipment across the Middle East and North Africa. It will also provide management and logistical services using its new IT and business process platforms.
Under a separate agreement with AFC, Speedy has acquired light plant and other assets from the JV for 4.1m cash, taking its overall investment to around 8.5m.
