prop, as the saying goes... what goes around comes around, remember last seasons semi final,I do... they got the same as we did. I didn't enjoy the way we played football but hey we lifted the cup.

Andy - 23 May 2005 17:56 - 4072 of 7811

gav,

You have an ex Bournemouth player I believe, came via Portsmouth, Steve Lovell, do you know him?

I remember him playing for us as a junior.

Sorry for off topic guys, not much to say about SEY today.

gavdfc - 23 May 2005 18:16 - 4073 of 7811

Andy,

Yep, Stevie Lovell, cracking player for us, never stops running and has a good eye for goals. He's well respected with the fans. Can't see us being able to keep him though, Aberdeen have been after him for quite a while so will no doubt get him this summer. Just hope we don't lose the manager, Jim Duffy, excellent manager and used to be in charge of the youth set up at Chelsea a few years ago. Couldn't really blame him if he decides to move on though considering what he had to work with. We'll probably be out of business in a few years if we don't get back up next year.

seawallwalker - 27 May 2005 07:54 - 4082 of 7811

I have not seen it, bit I am told Shares Mag say that SEY is said to be undervalued.

Theres a surprise.

Andy - 27 May 2005 08:50 - 4083 of 7811

SWW,

Even better than that, they have also included it in their oil portfolio, replacing Regal!

This is on the "Prospector's" weekly resource feature, this week on page 34.

=================================

"Sterling Energy (SEY:AIM), which has been in before but looks increasingly
attractive at the current price of 14.5p."

proptrade - 27 May 2005 09:00 - 4084 of 7811

not that this mag has much credibility but i would rather something positive than negative!

seawallwalker - 27 May 2005 09:10 - 4085 of 7811

Not much credibilty???

That will be why I am a failed trader then.

I only read Shares.........

lol

proptrade - 27 May 2005 11:20 - 4086 of 7811

you would be better off reading your horosope!

i always remeber the advice of a very successful trader friend of mine - on your way to work if you see a construction site and most of the cranes at that moment are pointing left, then sell. if they are right, then buy. simple and made him a fortune!
