Newmark Security PLC : Moving Forward (NWT)

hornster - 18 Aug 2004 14:05

Newmark Security PLC is an integrated, high-value security solutions group in both physical and electronic products serving a world-wide market place.
The companies focus is on 'personal security and the safety of assets for which we deliver true security solutions in design, manufacture, installation and after-sales support and maintenance'.

Company recently acquired Custom Micro Products Limited.
CMP recorded turnover of approx 3.35 million
and pre-tax profits of 500,000 for the year ended 31 January 2004.

Recent director buying also suggests good value.

Speculative buy.

Few buys into day and consolidation. Talk on iii of a contract with RBOS which would be very nice.

Hopefully up tomorrow.

moneyman - 27 Dec 2005 15:14 - 42 of 64

Nice move higher on little volume showing MMs now have little stock available. Nice tight spread should see this move higher quickly when markets open.

moneyman - 10 May 2006 14:54 - 43 of 64

Now is the tme to buy IMO. didn't realise these had got so cheap.

schiff - 10 May 2006 17:48 - 44 of 64

I never thought I'd live to see another post on this - so well done moneyman!

SP been drifting around for some time now, mainly down, and there never seemed to have been much by way of news. I need it to go to 1.43p just to break even, so I'm mildly encouraged by your comment

moneyman - 10 May 2006 22:39 - 45 of 64

Hi Schiff think interest is going to pick up shortly. Very undervalued.

schiff - 10 May 2006 22:56 - 46 of 64

Anything specific to support your feelings, moneyman?

moneyman - 11 May 2006 10:54 - 47 of 64

Shares are tightly held and all the selling has been retail whilst Directors have been buying. Started to move higher again schiff.

I've checked as far as my experience permits me - the directors own about 85m out of the 377m or so issued (22%). Mainly bought last year and at prices way ahead of today's. So they have a real vested interest in how things pan out! The year end was 30/4 - do you think they (or more likely the recent purchasers this week!) have some insight into what the accounts will show? Looks good.
Are you aware of any institutions' holdings, by the way?

moneyman - 11 May 2006 11:40 - 49 of 64

Just added a few more as 1.2 is not going to hold. Will check re Insti's

Think the Directors hold a few more now ;-)

schiff - 11 May 2006 12:38 - 52 of 64

I think you knew about that the day before, moneyman!! Very impressive.

Do you know who the Lothians are by the way - or are they just PIs (who know something) do you think?

No idea who they are but they keep on buying.

schiff - 11 May 2006 17:45 - 55 of 64

In any event one million is small potatoes compared with the others.

butane - 17 Jul 2006 14:06 - 56 of 64

Just spoken to Mr Beheer, hopes to publish results this week (auditors allowing).....commented that lack of news from the company was mostly due to their customers not wanting publicity on new contracts ...bearing in mind that NWT supplies security products.

schiff - 08 Feb 2007 09:16 - 57 of 64

Suddenly NWT have shot up. Anyone know why?

trader6 - 18 Dec 2007 16:23 - 58 of 64

Substantial director buying this week.

8 million market cap, interim profits of over 1 million, obviously director buying
means they can do even better, forward per of 4 or less and they are bidding
for 2.5 million online despite numerous pi's sales.

This is quite unique for a Aim stock where most are friendless.

trader6 - 19 Dec 2007 15:43 - 59 of 64

The buying is relentless by directors and every other trade is a sell by pi's :-))
