nope, trading myself and looking to set up an equity fund. I usually look at the big caps (trade stuff like O2, AMEC, EMI and the Banks) but love some of the smaller names.
whats your background? full time trader?

Cheers PT... been doing quite well without the graphs (guess it's been luck & a lil research) once I master these babies, think I'll be able to time my buys & sells right
Always saw myself as a city trader, think I might take it up... wonder what qualifications I need to become one?

sidtrix, I don't know about good books to start with... I started going to seminars & took a coarse, it depends on how serious you are about it, you have to go back wards to go forward.

sidrix. goal makes a great suggestion. get on a day course or event from any CFD/Broker/spread better and just soak up the info.
also on this board/thread you are permitted to ask what the hell you like. we may take the piss a bit at times but are generally a good bunch and happy to answer any newbie queries, however basic you think they are.

goal,
I think seminars are overpriced personally, but as you rightly say, it depends on your personal circumstanced and amount of cash available to trade.
For anyone with a serious amount of cash, I would attend because the cost of the course would be low in relation to your avialable capital.
Sidtrix,
This is free and online, not a bad place to start IMHO.

Sidtrix, Money AM run traders days which may be of interest to you. Also, I believe some of the people running this site also run training courses on various topics.
