hilary - 27 Nov 2008 13:59 - 412 of 974

You need to watch those adrenelin rushes if you've got a dicky ticker, Chilli. No straining on the loo or extra-marital sex.

Gausie - 27 Nov 2008 14:04 - 413 of 974

.I have also purchased a chunk at similar price

Lend us the keys to your tardis.

Gausie - 27 Nov 2008 14:18 - 414 of 974

tabasco - 27 Nov 2008 14:47 - 415 of 974

Hilary.nothing wrong with my ticker.purrs like Rollerand you will never see me strain myself thats for sure.just to be boringnever had extra-marital sexmatter of fact never done the dirty on any womanwouldnt have wanted done to myself.basic rulesI still rock the cosmos though!.Gusie .the next time I purchase a chunk of M&S I will buy an odd amount.say 15,001 and post it five minutes beforehows that?

Gausie - 27 Nov 2008 14:55 - 416 of 974

No need for that - but you'd be more credible if you mentioned the purchase shortly after you made it (as you did with Britvic - which I believe), rather than claim you made the buy a week ago, and just neglected to mention it in your last 100 odd posts.

jkd - 27 Nov 2008 15:09 - 417 of 974

short 220.5
not an investment, unless it keeps going down.
regards
jkd

Gausie - 27 Nov 2008 15:10 - 418 of 974

added to short 220.75

The weakness just starting to show now: bearish divergence on RSI, price dropped below ema, ema turned down. Lower low yesterday, failed to make new high today.

I doubt the sell off will be as ferocious as in recent days - the run up was more leisurely today. If it doesn't sell off today, then I'm confident it will have sold off by close Friday - the week's overall rise implies new buyers and this is not the sort of market where it's safe to hold retailers over weekends - so i think many will take profits before tomorrows close.

Reduced 216.75 for a few.

You're right tabby - was a bad call - i should have shorted far more.

Gausie - 01 Dec 2008 09:56 - 424 of 974

A few more covered @ 215.75.

Gausie - 01 Dec 2008 10:16 - 425 of 974

Blimey tabby, what have you 'baited' your breath with? It stinks!

tabasco - 01 Dec 2008 10:29 - 426 of 974

Good job mummy and daddy have deep pockets gausie

cynic - 01 Dec 2008 10:56 - 427 of 974

Gausie .... concur with you ..... i think christmas retail results are going to make horrid reading all round, even for the likes of ASOS

Gausie - 01 Dec 2008 13:40 - 428 of 974

added 218.75

Haystack - 01 Dec 2008 23:09 - 429 of 974

It will be interesting to see what MKS does tomorrow after the DOW dropped 680 on confirmation of a recession and signs of very poor retail activity.

Haystack - 02 Dec 2008 08:33 - 430 of 974

Diageo, owner of Guinness and Johnnie Walker whisky, has taken the top spot in Management Today's ranking of the most admired companies in Britain.

It replaced Marks & Spencer, which plummeted from number one to number 29, as worries grow about the effect a recession would have on retailing.

MOST ADMIRED UK COMPANIES
1 Diageo
2 Johnson Matthey
3 Unilever
4 BSkyB
5 Tesco

cynic - 02 Dec 2008 08:34 - 431 of 974

"admired"????? ..... so what? ...... totally meaningless
