Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

A bit selfish of me, but need a cheap entry level, so am now tempted to put a limit buy on the system at.........345ish? Still at least 7 days to go until the hype starts, imo.

That would be good. A bit of froth to increase the price would be nice.
It's not nearly high enough right now!

what i find extraordinary is that FOGL price keeps trying to rise, though i can see no logic for that at all - no oil; wrong place and so on and so forth

And I bet that Borders and Argos and Desire will rise if there is a strike.....they say that sometimes a stock next to another stock but nothing to do with whatever the main rising one will rise as well...during the dotcom boom : this happened many a time....
