THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Oh no! All I can see is a question mark in a blue box! What's that mean, picture too blue, too cheerful, what? :-(

Evening all!!!
Well that was a mixed day. SEO and BBC both reporting disappointingly and their SP going south. BRW upping their divi and heading north, PCM just heading north.
Funny old world.
Bestest news of the day though, was after months of wrangling with FSA directives and advisories, the business I am a partner in finally got on line!!!!!!!!!!
Very few of the links on it are meaningfully connected yet, but at last we have a compliant web presence.
You really have no idea how long it has took to make this viable and compliant. As soon as we can get the crawlers to pick it up properly we can replace it with an all singing all dancing one, but for now.................
A happy evening. Now compared to this morning when I saw the two lots of results and I was ready to take a sledgehammer to the pet Gerbil, I can't believe how well the day has ended.

Congratulations Alan, let us all know when we can take a peek! Shares are shares, they bounce up and down - a bit like a Gerbil under a sledgehammer, well until the final squash that is. I'm glad he/she survived to see another day!

Kim,
You can click on the little greenhouse next to my name or go to www.themortgageexchange.biz , but its not very exciting. Just a framework really at the moment but its a huge leap forward after the crap the FSA have been handing out to web based applications etc.
Off to bed happy.
Night night.

Thanks Kim. Word changed and proof reader now has an MP3 player stapled to his ears with a continuous Barry Manilow tape playing.
Cheers,
Alan

kimoldfield - 01 Mar 2006 10:12 - 4190 of 81564

You are welcome. Barry Manilow? My God you are a hard man Alan!!

hewittalan6 - 01 Mar 2006 22:16 - 4192 of 81564

Not ready to cope with two of the buggers.
14 socks and 7 undies in that condition in the wash basket every week is more than any woman could stand, but 28 and 14!!!!!!!!!!!!
All that said though, is there any chance the 2 Alan Hewitts could line up, naked except for a ruler and a recent bank statement so I can choose which I'd prefer?

Heather - a girlie night out is what you need ;)

hewittalan6 - 01 Mar 2006 22:26 - 4194 of 81564

Yep. You're right chocolate, I do, unfortunatly Alan is just getting over my last girlie night out from 8 years ago. It cost him about 1000 in repairs, so he doesn't let me out much.
