Spaceman - 21 May 2005 00:54 - 4183 of 24230

I am pleased to announce that our new high tech low maintenance stable block has now opened.

We are luck to have Sweet Revenge in residence at the moment, I am a bit worried about Sweet revenge though because he/she seems to have an extra pair of trousered legs .......

Spaceman - 21 May 2005 02:00 - 4184 of 24230

Well seeing as I am all alone this evening I have been doing a bit of CD cataloguing and I have decided to make my whole collection available to anyone in the coffee shop.

Take your pick here they are Coffee Shop Music List

Spaceman - 21 May 2005 02:08 - 4185 of 24230

Thats enough talking to myself for one evening, off to bed now.

Have a good weekend.......

Socrates - 21 May 2005 09:48 - 4186 of 24230

Good morning all, it's decorating day today. I have decided the hammock is too dark so to brighten it up I am giving it a coat of Jade White emulsion. It's more like duck egg blue than green, very tasteful. I'm hoping it will attract more ladies.

FEB coming up.

Fundamentalist - 21 May 2005 10:07 - 4187 of 24230

morning socs and all

FEB -sounds like a great idea

Socrates - 21 May 2005 10:43 - 4188 of 24230

FEB always a great idea, it should be world famous, like fish and chips and jellied eels.

Spaceman - 21 May 2005 11:23 - 4189 of 24230

Had porridge for breakfast today, my girlfriend tells me its excellent because it has slow release sugar and is very healthy.

I didn't tell her that I had 3 tablespoonfuls of golden syrup with it ;-)

little willie - 21 May 2005 12:24 - 4190 of 24230

Afternoon everyone [no-one much around on a w/end].
Thanks for doing the honours re Sweetie, we'll try to get a return but she's still very young and we're trying to establish her best distance.

Her sire was Restructure [Irish and successfull by Northern Dancer] and a mid distance to stayer whilst her dam was Thrilling Beat [ SA ] and a sprinter.

She goes again in 2nd race at Kenilworth, C/Town this coming Tuesday, I think its about 1.30 out time [12.30 yours] but I may be 15 mins or so out.

Has she got a chance? I've honestly no idea. Her last run was her worst when there were no excuses, she was tipped to win by all the papers and everyone;
she had the best times of the horses running, everybody from the trainer down had wads on her but Martinus Minie the Jock reported back that when asked she had nothing in the tank at all.

She'd been fabulous in the gallops as she has been now , she returned sound; the only thing I wonder is.........IS SHE BLOODY WELL IN LOVE?????

You know what young fillies are like!!!!!

optomistic - 21 May 2005 13:21 - 4191 of 24230

Nice looking filly but she doesn't half take up some space, along with the double header not much room left for posts on the page.

jeffmack - 21 May 2005 14:22 - 4192 of 24230

She looks a belter LW. I will invest a few pennies on Tuesday.

Spaceman - 21 May 2005 16:47 - 4193 of 24230

optimistic, well she needs to settle in but your right I think she will have to make do with a bit less space ;-)

Socrates - 21 May 2005 20:16 - 4194 of 24230

Time for some supper. Nice cup of Darjeeling tea, some brioche with butter and gooseberry jam. Smashing.

Socrates - 22 May 2005 08:07 - 4195 of 24230

Socco has woken to the sun streaming through the bedroom, what a blow, never get back to sleep now. I would have been much better off in the newly decorated hammock.

Breakfast has to be the next item on the menu, FEB it has to be don't you know!

Spaceman - 22 May 2005 09:32 - 4196 of 24230

Morning from a sunny hastings looking forward to a nice FEB and reading the sundays.

Socrates - 22 May 2005 10:06 - 4197 of 24230

Sadly, one of my papers has not turned up today. The newsagent is trying to get some and will drop one in, probably about wednesady!

Must pop out later, antique fair up at the racecourse, should be fun.

Fundamentalist - 22 May 2005 11:45 - 4198 of 24230

jeffmack - 22 May 2005 13:18 - 4199 of 24230

Just been getting my tackle ready (again) Got a day off on Wednesday to go fishing, cant wait.

If anyone has any spare worms, please post them to me.

Socrates - 22 May 2005 22:15 - 4200 of 24230

My tackle is always ready Jeffmack.

What happened today, did someone change the locks? I had to climb in through the window.

Spaceman - 22 May 2005 22:53 - 4201 of 24230

oh dear, i forgot to set the atomic clock operation mode to weekend and the supercomputer shut the whole security system dowm as a precation. I just had a frantic phone call from the swedish waitresses saying they were stuck in the coffee house with jeff and they were very concerned as he was playing with his tackle.

everything should be ok now. Sorry for the problems.
