Afternoon everyone [no-one much around on a w/end].
Thanks for doing the honours re Sweetie, we'll try to get a return but she's still very young and we're trying to establish her best distance.

Her sire was Restructure [Irish and successfull by Northern Dancer] and a mid distance to stayer whilst her dam was Thrilling Beat [ SA ] and a sprinter.

She goes again in 2nd race at Kenilworth, C/Town this coming Tuesday, I think its about 1.30 out time [12.30 yours] but I may be 15 mins or so out.

Has she got a chance? I've honestly no idea. Her last run was her worst when there were no excuses, she was tipped to win by all the papers and everyone;
she had the best times of the horses running, everybody from the trainer down had wads on her but Martinus Minie the Jock reported back that when asked she had nothing in the tank at all.

She'd been fabulous in the gallops as she has been now , she returned sound; the only thing I wonder is.........IS SHE BLOODY WELL IN LOVE?????

Nice looking filly but she doesn't half take up some space, along with the double header not much room left for posts on the page.

She looks a belter LW. I will invest a few pennies on Tuesday.

optimistic, well she needs to settle in but your right I think she will have to make do with a bit less space ;-)

Time for some supper. Nice cup of Darjeeling tea, some brioche with butter and gooseberry jam. Smashing.

Socco has woken to the sun streaming through the bedroom, what a blow, never get back to sleep now. I would have been much better off in the newly decorated hammock.

Breakfast has to be the next item on the menu, FEB it has to be don't you know!

Was planning a hard days work at the house today but a little accident half hour in has put paid to that so am now on the sofa for the day with the peas working overtime

What happened today, did someone change the locks? I had to climb in through the window.

oh dear, i forgot to set the atomic clock operation mode to weekend and the supercomputer shut the whole security system dowm as a precation. I just had a frantic phone call from the swedish waitresses saying they were stuck in the coffee house with jeff and they were very concerned as he was playing with his tackle.

everything should be ok now. Sorry for the problems.

Having a bad day, unable to be of much use on site again today after yesterdays accident so back home trying to understand the market - is my screen incorrect or are White Nile shares actually up on relisting rather than 50-60% down as predicted!!

We went to the knees up on the Kings Road yesterday lunchtime along with 250k others. Great fun, but unfortunately my husband only managed to video record a load of feet instead of the big blue bus which he had intended to record. Sky also ran a 1 hour special on Mourinho last night - I've got a feeling that the BBC one tonight will be similar and include the same footage.
