Fronterares super newcomer (FRR)

required field - 18 Dec 2007 08:22

This is another possible incredible winner, Could double all of a sudden, depending
on flows and future discoveries, better send off those (Wben) forms now as
this is an American Stock traded on Aim.

Looks almost like last orders here today, ding ! ding !, Evil Knievil thinks it could go to 10..., well knowing my luck...it will probably drop back...hope not...with 2 oil field updates due...surely one of them will come right...here's hoping..fingers crossed !

required field - 18 Mar 2008 12:40 - 43 of 202

Quite a dive here...with no news...anybody with any information out there ?

halifax - 18 Mar 2008 18:59 - 44 of 202

Is it a duster?

required field - 18 Mar 2008 23:19 - 45 of 202

2 updates due for 2 oilfields...which one....could be no success at all...could be that both are a success...just guess work at the moment...really a gamble with perhaps the Taribani working out fine....both a success would be incredible !

required field - 18 Mar 2008 23:37 - 46 of 202

Further to my previous post....we all know about the Falklands, but this is happening now ! right now ! no less risky, so how come not many people interested ? really puzzles me !

required field - 19 Mar 2008 16:38 - 47 of 202

Truly disappointing sp crash on no news that I can see...from 129p down to 78p..!what's going on ? would not not be so bad if there was some news you could react to !

required field - 19 Mar 2008 17:02 - 48 of 202

I hope that this is not one of those.. that people get information before everybody else does !

Tau Ceti - 19 Mar 2008 18:05 - 49 of 202

Current US quote is $1.85 - $2.04 (so 93p - 102p equivalent) with last trade done at actual price of $2.00. So can only assume that the UK price is afflicted by local factors. Shares bought vs sold today are roughly equal so maybe it's market makers taking advantage of forced closure of leveraged positions now that margin calls have been raised.

required field - 20 Mar 2008 08:18 - 50 of 202

Thanks Tau Ceti !...we have some news on Taribani...delays earlier but drilling coming...my only concern is moving the rig from the basin edge area...but if Lloyd 1 is a success (and that's a big if ) a lot of testing and plans for follow up will have to be drawn up !

required field - 20 Mar 2008 08:42 - 51 of 202

Reading through the RNS just issued...looks like there will not be an immediate follow-up drilling of the C prospect but the rigs will concentrate on the Taribani development, as far as the C prospect what does that mean ? possibly best to make sure that funds come in from the Taribani first !, and then develop (if the lloyd 1 well is successful ) the Basin Ege (C prospect ) later. We have to hope that one of the horizons where they encountered hydrocarbons and gas is going to be worth the effort of redrilling at a later stage !

required field - 20 Mar 2008 11:42 - 52 of 202

I must have spooked the market (hope not)...dropped back again !

required field - 23 Mar 2008 12:16 - 53 of 202

As an investor...the Taribani field looks pretty good to me...with the B and C prospects I hope that this next RNS will say that : they have encountered oil in several horizons and are now putting to the Georgian authorities demands that they can redrill and appraise these horizons at a later stage....which would mean probably drilling from a different location.....so clearing a drilling area....gaining permission to do so and approach roads will take some time....in the meantime : drilling the Taribani South is probably the best thing to do whilst the planning and permission delays are sorted....all this is by no means sure but I'm hoping that this is going to be the likely outcome...other views are welcome !

required field - 23 Mar 2008 12:18 - 54 of 202

Oh ! and a Happy Easter to all !

required field - 28 Mar 2008 16:05 - 55 of 202

sp...all over the place at the moment !, weird !

halifax - 28 Mar 2008 16:08 - 56 of 202

No sign of any oil/gas yet.

required field - 28 Mar 2008 16:30 - 57 of 202

There are signs of it ...at the Lloyd 1 well...what we don't know is if that well as an exploration well will enable FRR to be able to drill future appraisal wells or not...(though the Taribani Oil field will prevent total disaster ), this could pull back 30p or so or the sp could quite conceivably double !, in the event of hitting multiple horizons at the Lloyd 1 well !, fingers crossed....like Evil Knievil says : (who's going long by the way)..this is a gamble with massive upside. I've got to say that :this reminds me of VOG a few years back.

halifax - 28 Mar 2008 17:52 - 58 of 202

Agree with VOG comparison but hope history does not repeat itself!!

required field - 28 Mar 2008 19:32 - 59 of 202

Well...this company seems quietly confident..so we shall see...without jumping the gun (as so to speak)...if this came right (and you have to say a big if...)..you would see a feeding frenzy like nothing else...people cursing not having filled in the W-ben forms and such....it would be like ITM and VOG with a touch of SEO of the old days.....well I can dream can't I ?...it probably won't happen knowing my luck...and will have to stick it out until the Taribani oil field is drilled.

required field - 31 Mar 2008 22:31 - 60 of 202

Quite a rise today....not much else to say !

required field - 01 Apr 2008 23:10 - 61 of 202

Boy !, the sp is like a yoyo....good to play in a sipp if you have the time !
