This is excellent news, and I think ZOO will be aiming at the US more and more in the future!

24 October 2005

ZOO DIGITAL GROUP PLC
('ZOO' or 'the Group')

ZOO BREAKS INTO NORTH AMERICAN MARKET WITH WALLACE & GROMIT DVD GAME AGREEMENT

- Partnership with LA-based games producer Snap TV -
- ZOO's first product to be sold in the US market-

ZOO Digital Publishing Ltd ('ZDPL'), the games publishing division of ZOO
Digital Group plc, today announces that it has partnered with Snap TV, a US DVD
games production and distribution company, to publish its interactive DVD game
Wallace & Gromit 'Curse of the Were-Rabbit'. The agreement is a landmark one for
ZDPL as it marks the first time that a ZOO product has been published in the US.

The announcement follows the agreement announced on 21 July 2005 that ZOO, in
partnership with Aardman Animations and Universal Pictures, will release its
first non-quiz DVD game based on the Wallace & Gromit film and using DVD-EXTRA
technology across a number of territories including the UK, France, Germany,
Spain, Austria, , Australia and Japan.

Ian Stewart, Chief Executive of ZOO, said:

'The Wallace & Gromit game is a landmark product for ZOO. Not only is it the
world's first and most complex non-quiz interactive DVD game using DVD-EXTRA
technology, but also because it marks the first time that ZOO have broken into
the US market. Through the release of the game into the US we expect to agree
further licensing deals in the North American market.'

Lets hope we see some movement in the share price.

skids - 24 Oct 2005 08:12 - 44 of 142

Troys,

I doubt todays news will raise the price by much, however I do think its an important deal. The US is a huge market and ZOO could make substantial profits there if all of the recent hard work (trade shows) pays off.

Yup read about the other possible Disney contract in weekend Telegraph.

Don't know whether this is related to that or whether its yet another speculated deal:

"Also in focus on speculation it is shortly to make an announcement regarding Ascent Media. Zoo Digital not immediately available to comment."

not very good results latest, but chins up, a wave of new products
including interactive dvds scheduled for the fourth quarter onwards, which
should see us gaining a bit more momentum for the rest of 2006,

ahoj - 29 Dec 2005 13:02 - 52 of 142

what is it doing?

Max Damage - 04 Jan 2006 11:24 - 53 of 142

Mentioned in the telegraph today

Also looks like a big seller via EVO has now been cleared leading us to what should be a good bounce upwards.

skids - 23 Jan 2006 13:33 - 54 of 142

skids - 23 Jan 2006 14:36 - 55 of 142

AndrewThomson77 - 23 Jan 2006 14:38 - 56 of 142

Are you a holder, Skids?

TheMaster - 23 Jan 2006 14:46 - 57 of 142

Now 55% and I have just brought a shed full of these, hoping for a bounce.

skids - 23 Jan 2006 14:53 - 58 of 142

AndrewThomson77, yep.

Aerotus - 23 Jan 2006 15:09 - 59 of 142

Wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole. Even at these levels. Business will be a going concern very soon, and they will have to raise more funds, as usual...

TheMaster - 24 Jan 2006 10:06 - 60 of 142

Rumor going round today of a bid for the company, hugh 'B' trades gone through this morning, wait for confirmation RNS later.

zombie - 24 Jan 2006 12:02 - 61 of 142

The whole Group or part of? (ie. ZDP publishing side / ZOOtech DVD software side). Any ideas?
