A very good TT RNS Monday morning could see us through 10p. From the presentation TT sounds to be going well.

coeliac1 - 08 Jun 2012 18:15 - 4211 of 5221

The buy back has been mentioned most recently so I would think that would be first on the list rather than a dividend.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jun 2012 18:19 - 4212 of 5221

Dividends can come later. Just wonder if most of it will be put to use in Colombia.
As long as it is all in shareholder interests , sounds good.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jun 2012 18:22 - 4213 of 5221

Also hope Range get the Puntland side of the business split for shareholders fast.
The other assets can drive the sp forward. I think the split will be good for Range
shareholders. Then the leverage for Puntland will match RMP. Also shareholders will not keep jumping to and fro to RMP.

Horn 1.3235 up 0.0395 (3.08%)

I just hope it carries on going up and they don't do a b.awful consolidation. Rained all day here and hasn't stopped since Tuesday afternoon - great.

We need the rain down here. You must have a nice green lush lawn, that would or should be brown this time of year.

3 monkies - 08 Jun 2012 18:54 - 4218 of 5221

Your welcome to it, I shall leave you some full water butts in my will. Got webbed feet here.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jun 2012 18:55 - 4219 of 5221

No consolidation. A buy back would be better, only after re investing cash into Colombia. Cannot see the point in giving a dividend or share buy back only for the company to come at shareholders in 6 months for fund raising.

3 monkies - 08 Jun 2012 18:57 - 4220 of 5221

Yes it is lush, green with plenty of moss and the poor plants/shrubs/trees etc. are all drooping with the weight of water. I has advantages but lots of disadvantages.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jun 2012 18:57 - 4221 of 5221

To much house building down here without giving thought that the area is becoming the driest in the country.

dreamcatcher - 08 Jun 2012 18:59 - 4222 of 5221

Rake the moss out and supply the hanging basket business. :-))

3 monkies - 08 Jun 2012 19:56 - 4223 of 5221

They might strike a deal, moss for grass seed. Good weekend all and hope kim has not been washed or blown away.

kimoldfield - 09 Jun 2012 12:16 - 4224 of 5221

3m, apart from a bit of rain and not much more than a breeze, our area has been lucky. Due to the geographical layout, we rarely get the extremes of weather that are seen elsewhere. This is Wales though, so it will be a long time before we can boast tropical weather!

Have a good weekend all.

well after watching the presentation, PL certainly suggests that TT is the flagship and so anything but a good rns will help his statement and hopefully SP move back into the double figures where it should be. Didn't get the same feeling for Putland, I think he was cautious on this one, why would he want to split this one if he feels encouraged with the results so far. Surely he would feel the SP would benefit if the results were going to be better than or met their original forecasts. Texas appears to be moving towards a sale in Q3 and yesterdays RNS didn't do any harm. Columbia, will see what they tell us about their plans for this. I think Georgia is just a waste of time and probably little will be achieved on that one. So

1. TT
2. Texas
3. Putland
4. Columbia
5. Georgia

I hope when they sell Texas, they go for the share "buy back", there are too many shares in circulation, need to buy up some of those shares and so stabalise the SP.

76m shares yesterday, surprised with so many sells but then again, a lot of buying must ahve happended when it dropped to just over 5p and so a 50%+ for them would encourage anyone to lock in the profits. PL needs to continue with the positive news and get the shares abck into doubles figures !

dreamcatcher - 10 Jun 2012 16:16 - 4226 of 5221

No ASX,closed tonight.

dreamcatcher - 10 Jun 2012 16:27 - 4227 of 5221

Remember PL purchased 5% of the Tangiers Petroleum stock. Just wonder what this holds for the future. Will more cash be placed in this company ?

dreamcatcher - 10 Jun 2012 18:30 - 4228 of 5221

Watched the Range Resources Investor Presentation, ASX Small to Mid Caps Conference in Hong Kong video again. 22 mins and 45 seconds into it answering a questionn PL - ''We would of not drilled the second well. We think stage one we need 250 million barrels of recoverable to start off with. So we would of drilled that second well if we did not think there was a com'' ( Then he stops mid sentence, perhaps a slip of the tongue. :-)) The word was going to be COMMERCIAL.

Red Emperor Resources (LON:RMP) and Range Resources (LON:RRL) pushed 8% and 6% higher to 20.75p and 9.2p respectively. Both stocks have been getting attention over the last few days after saying that drilling operations on the Shabeel North well in Puntland, Somalia have commenced, adding that the planned target depth of the well is 2,400 metres and drilling is expected to take 45 to 60 days to complete. The well, the second in the current drilling campaign, is being operated by Joint Venture partner, Horn Petroleum Corp (HRN). Red Emperor holds a 20% working interest in the Dharoor and Nugaal Valley Production Sharing Agreements along with Horn and Range Resources. The Shabeel North well is targeting Upper Cretaceous Jesomma sands, which had good oil and gas shows in the Shabeel-1 well 3.5 kilometres to the south. Petrophysical analysis of downhole electrical logs in the Shabeel-1 well indicated a potential pay zone in the Jesomma of up to 12 to 20 metres with an average porosity of 18 to 20%. It is planned to bring the rig back to the Shabeel-1 location to test these sands to confirm their ability to flow oil once the drilling of the Shabeel North well is completed. Range Resources have also given the market an update that showed a significant increase in Proved [P1] and Probable [P2] reserves for the North Chapman Ranch Project, in which Range holds a 20-25% interest. Range's net attributable interest in proved reserves increased 54%-57%; Range's net attributable interest in probable reserves increased 16%-20%.
