Media Corp (Gaming Corpoartion GMC)Attracting Some Big Names. (MDC)

goldfinger - 05 Dec 2003 00:33

Up nearlly 15% today and I beleive there could be more to come.

Evil Knievil has tipped it on EvilCast and has bought in 100,000 worth of stock a notifiable interest. He rates the management very highly and says they are attracting all the big bookmakers to the online casino site including punters the likes of William Hill, Chandler, and Ladbrokes. The company are now running at a profit every month and should break into a yearly profit from the years previous loss very soon. The company also ownes in partnership with a Swiss firm Boss another casino site and by all accounts that is doing well.

Im looking at this one as a momentum play pretty high risk as there are competitors out there but I feel the management will give it the edge.

Please DYOR, and remember you are responsible for your own buying and selling actions.

cheers GF.

Last years interims were 5th May. Don't see any indication of this year's dates. So a fair while to wait. Any other stimulus in the offing!

No i bought at just over 20p, so im holding for a bit longer in hope, ive had a great start to the year so can't moan,,you can't win them all..JB

I think price is holding well considering the general market downturn and there were some good size buys showing up so GMC hasn't been forgotten. We just need some good rumours or press tips to get it moving again.

Dynamite - 17 Mar 2005 11:50 - 429 of 1117

Hiya Guys n Gals, Lots of you told me to buy this at 21p+ I didn't fancy it as it moved up too quick and I am glad I didn't get any then. Now the time seems right so I bought in today and I am hoping for a good upward ride.:-)

Oh yes and by the way...A good write up in Shares Mag tipping it. Perhaps someone with more time can post it on here. Thanks

Got this from the other place. From Shares Mag today.

The hectic progress of Gaming Corporation (GMC:AIM) looks likely to receive a big boost if news that it has concluded a deal with a major mobile phone company is confirmed this month.

It is understood that a deal has been struck with Orange, owned by France Telecom, to supply mobile casino games on a partnership and revenue share basis. Other operators are also believed to be interested as gambling is a good way to sell more airtime on 3G phones.

A fortnight ago Gaming Corp raised 10 million from placing 71.5 million shares at 14p with investors including Legal & General. Directors halved their holdings by selling just over 30 million shares to satisfy strong institutional demand and increase liquidity in the shares.

Gaming Corporation is spending heavily on developing its in-house poker business and other games. It also plans acquisitions in the poker and casino areas.

Last week the company launched a new website targeting the rapidly expanding skill gaming market. This sector is growing at 40% a year and was worth 76 million in 2004.

Gaming Corps new site will offer games including gin rummy, pool and pyramid solitaire for cash prizes and for fun. It will also spearhead a drive into the US market.

Shares says:Gaming Corp looks worth a punt as the shares have fallen below the 14p placing price, having rocketed too far to 19p from 2p in just six weeks.

Backed by the good Shares and the evil Evil. What's more, Di has joined the great and the good. No stopping GMC now! By the way, my guess is that the skill games launch will prove particularly significant because of the entry into the US market. cap seems far too low at 35m with 10m cash in the bank - a gambler's dream!

Some great buys this morning and the price is all blue. Some news on the way possibly as the strong buying continues. The success story of the year is continuing. Good luck {:-)

Dynamite - 18 Mar 2005 10:22 - 437 of 1117

Good level of buys outdoing sells today & starting to move .,.

Dynamite - 18 Mar 2005 10:37 - 441 of 1117

G: You obviously think like me...having missed out the amazing rise a little while ago now seems a great time to buy GMC
Di

BANKONE - 18 Mar 2005 10:38 - 442 of 1117

Nice to have you on board, the thinking will pay off. One of those meteroic days to day I expect at least 15%+ rise today especially now the buy volume is increasing rapidly. Good luck.

mickeyskint - 18 Mar 2005 10:44 - 443 of 1117

This I think is going to be a good investment and not the momentum play it was a few weeks back. The placement has stabilised the price, so onwards and upwards but gently.

LOL

MS

Dynamite - 18 Mar 2005 10:49 - 444 of 1117

Mickey more gently is better cos' it won't crash down quickly either, well failing terrible news...so upwards and onwards.
