Welcome The Other Kevin.

Drinks on the table to the left, food to the right, dancing in the lounge, make as much noise as you like!

gavdfc - 28 Sep 2004 12:45 - 439 of 7811

I assume this is the same Hilary that posted earlier on this thread. What was the response in the traders room SW? Don't have access to that.

Welcome aboard Kevin.

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 12:51 - 440 of 7811

A bit of banter, nothing concrete, but the suggestion by hilary was followed by the price rise.

I assume that rise happened because of the earlier news items from HNR.

The Other Kevin - 28 Sep 2004 12:53 - 441 of 7811

Thanks for the welcome guys. Just dabbling a bit in the oil sector with RPT as well.

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 12:54 - 442 of 7811

I am giving the next level a try for a month, if things go well, I will probably step up each month to the next plan until I settle at a level that is suitable for me.

Must say premiere seems a little limited, but then it is cheap!

proptrade - 28 Sep 2004 13:06 - 443 of 7811

nice bit of banter!

good old Hilary, never heard of her before earlier posts but is fast becoming a legend.

welcome Kevin....SEY is a lovely choice to dip your toe in (the water is heating up!)

gavdfc - 28 Sep 2004 13:08 - 444 of 7811

Cheers SW. I take it the Premier just gives you access to the traders room, have not looked at the upgrades here, may do so though. I did like the L2 free trial we had a while ago though, fun watching that! But not getting that for 5 a month!

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 13:42 - 445 of 7811

No, and I missed the L2 trial.

Things are looking brighter today by the look of it.

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 13:44 - 446 of 7811

Looks like it my tip to the next point.........

Fundamentalist - 28 Sep 2004 15:33 - 447 of 7811

Hi all

Just taken at look at SEY for the first time and quite impressed (currently heavily invested in DNX and looking for an additional oil stock). Will do a bit more research before dipping my toe in!

One question I cant find the answer too is is any of their future production hedged at a fixed price? thanks in advance if anyone knows

PS Seawallwalker - if you email moneyam they will normally give you a free trial if you are planning to upgrade

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 15:36 - 448 of 7811

Thanks Fundamentalist.

There is some price fixing in respect of Gulf Produced gas.

I will try to find the information, I believe it was in the prelims this year.

Fundamentalist - 28 Sep 2004 15:40 - 449 of 7811

Thanks SW

Ive just printed the prelims off so will probably find it soon

seawallwalker - 28 Sep 2004 15:44 - 450 of 7811

For 2004/early 2005 we have to date used the futures markets to 'sell'
approximately $15 million of gas at prices averaging $5.64/mcfge as part of our
risk management programme. We intend to continue to progressively enter into
such contracts to cover part of our forecast production.

Most of their expolration and producing is hedged one way or another.

gavdfc - 28 Sep 2004 15:50 - 451 of 7811

According to the Oriel brokers note, 2/3rds of this years gas output hedged at $5.80mcf.

And from the Evo note, a proportion of gas production hegded at $5.5mmbtu.

gavdfc - 28 Sep 2004 15:51 - 452 of 7811

And a trade for 1m just gone through at 16p.

Fundamentalist - 28 Sep 2004 15:56 - 453 of 7811

Thanks SW/gav

aimtrader - 28 Sep 2004 23:14 - 454 of 7811

18 - 21p very soon would be my guess, i think this is a definate buy and hold, and this is one share i hold with confidence.

gavdfc - 29 Sep 2004 09:15 - 455 of 7811

Nice start to the day, blue with some chunky buys.

proptrade - 29 Sep 2004 09:31 - 456 of 7811
