AFX
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Mineral exploration-focused investment company Eurogold Ltd said Oxus Gold PLC sold off its entire holding of 43.2 mln Eurogold shares.
This comes after Oxus Gold said on Feb 19 that it would pay EuroGold 7.95 mln aud to settle legal proceedings that started in 2006.
Eurogold served proceedings on Aug 21, 2006 against Oxus Gold after Oxus' repudiation of the contract to acquire Eurogold's Ukranian gold assets for 27.8 mln aud.

last time sp was lower was in Q3 2006 when it spiked downwards ..... if 20p gives way, then it will be more like lifeboat than punt

prob no need to waste my own bullets! .... if you want to buy into a small gold company, then CEY is almost certainly a better bet

Gold on the rise $948 will have helped....have a look at avm chaps (good prospects) as well. OXS might shoot up if the Shares article is anything to go by...23 milllion or so ounces (by jove) springs to mind !, not in yet but might be soon !

of course not RF ..... i have steered well clear of OXS because they seem to run into regular probs and there are (imo) better options in small gold producers - e.g. CEY

Scotinvestor,thankyou,
I do value Cynics comments and hid advice has served me well in the past,
I do always make my own mind uo in the end as we all should,i am very happy to have bought today and will hold for the LONGTERM,i particularly liked the article i read in shares magazine ,which ultimateley swayed me to buy, also i have held this in the past and it has served me VERY well indeed, just lucky with my timing, now that i have said that i would not be suprised if the demons come out and the SP falls.
