Another beaten up oil junior starting to bounce (CHAR)

kate bates - 02 Apr 2009 13:29

Don't like doing threads but have been alerted to this one as it trades well below cash position and allegedly has directorate links with the massive Petrobas. Last broker target was something like 165p - currently 26! The bates is in.

Some mix up with Goldfinger's blogs here....still rising....sold out too early....got to be near the top now...

required field - 12 Mar 2010 15:23 - 47 of 474

70p now...aaaggghhhh......

cynic - 12 Mar 2010 15:34 - 48 of 474

you made a (good) profit so don't grizzle ...... sp could just as easily collapse

required field - 12 Mar 2010 15:43 - 49 of 474

true....

mitzy - 12 Mar 2010 16:51 - 50 of 474

This is heading to 100p just like Matd.. gl.

cynic - 13 Mar 2010 08:57 - 51 of 474

but why? ... or my exactly, why now when seemingly the company has little or no substance?

required field - 13 Mar 2010 10:36 - 52 of 474

This is not MATD.....Chariot oil could be like Victoria oil of old or Forum Energy....until they start drilling which is probably at the very least a year away...the sp will spike back down again : you can be sure of that....MATD is set to resume drilling in a few weeks time with a very big possibility of hitting hydrocarbons of some sort as another company just a few miles away already has done so !.

mitzy - 13 Mar 2010 15:09 - 53 of 474

Because I bought @ 25p cynic.

cynic - 13 Mar 2010 17:36 - 54 of 474

that's no reason sp should go to 100

moneyplus - 13 Mar 2010 18:43 - 55 of 474

well done on this one mitzy--I missed it. I'm in Cov though cove energy--looks to be an exciting week next week, big jump on friday and if the rumours are right that one will reach 100p easily. imo--fingers crossed!

mitzy - 14 Mar 2010 17:56 - 56 of 474

Thanks moneyplus this is still very much undervalued with a possible 9 billion barrels and a Market Cap of 90m it could easliy rise to 160p in the next 12 months..

good luck with Cove I missed it the other week.

mitzy - 15 Mar 2010 08:38 - 57 of 474

Wow...

cynic - 15 Mar 2010 08:47 - 58 of 474

absolutely so, but damned if i can see why .... at least Cove has some logic to its rise

mitzy - 15 Mar 2010 08:50 - 59 of 474

lol..

required field - 16 Mar 2010 08:14 - 60 of 474

No stopping this....sold out too early....incredible rise...

cynic - 16 Mar 2010 08:37 - 61 of 474

incredible being the operative word ...... why, is the question i raised before, and no one has responded ...... it is for that reason that i have managed to keep inherent greed under control

It will spike and come down...it's the thought of billions of barrels of oil that has sent it into orbit.....could be years before any drilling gets underway...

HARRYCAT - 16 Mar 2010 08:46 - 64 of 474

From Daily Express today:
"* Talk of a co-investment deal sustains Chariot Oil & Gas."

And also: March 2 (Reuters) -" Britain's Chariot Oil & Gas Ltd said its group resources rose by 3.3 billion barrels to over 8.5 billion barrels, resulting from a survey in Central Blocks, offshore Namibia.

The Africa-focused oil and gas exploration firm said no resource potential had previously been attributed to these blocks.

The Central Blocks are owned and operated by Chariot's wholly owned unit Enigma Oil & Gas Exploration Ltd."
