not even a recipe??

actually if you like prawns i have the BEST simplest meal of all time:

loads of raw prawns and scallops (and mussels even)
1 red onion
2 cloves+ of garlic
8 organic tomatoes
half tin of tomatoes
couple of teaspoons of tomatoe puree
massive handful of coriander

ok:

use a la cruset (sp!) casserole dish

heat up the onion and garlic in a few tablespoons of oil for a few minutes

add the raw seafood for a couple of minutes (smells amazing right!) plus a bit of pepper

then add the raw (skinned and chopped) tomatoes, give a good stir for a couple of minutes

add the tin (half) and some puree

reduce for maybe 5-7 minutes bubbling away.

just as you are about to serve stir in the coriander, add some pepper and cover. take to the table and wow the family with what must be one of the easiest and quickest dishes of all time.

serve with white crusty bread or rice

by the way tastes even better the next day.

enjoy....

Frankly I prefer prawns with cold custard.

Looks like Simon Potter has had his knuckles rapped for your report prop.

Hardman shares were suspended in Oz last night for a while, and then he issued a retraction concerning Tiof.

He is looking for the culprit who posted it on Moneyam, and I gave him your name.

He's coming round later to err..... Persuade you not to post him in an immature light again.

(All imo and based on Hans Christian Anderson writing style of course).

19.25 bid! (JEFF)

seawallwalker - 15 Jul 2005 10:30 - 4548 of 7811

I think you are right prop, about the report and retraction not coming to market.

I think that Simon Potter was probably quoted though, on an off the record conversation, there being no smoke without fire, and the comments in the report were quotes from him.

There are shades of the Tiof /Woodside denial here, where Woodie eventually had to come on board with what Simon Potter was saying about the potential size of the field.

There are Companies sniffing around in the merger and aquisition arena, and as we know Hardman and Sterling were tipped as being taken out this year, plenty of pundits gave that message out at the start of the year, and it makes sense to do this before Chinguetti starts producing, and Tiof is declared commercial.

ROC rose late last week on takeover speculation, that did not filter down to everyone because of the events, so there is quite likely something in the air.

A good wait and see job imo.

Showing strength today while others are drifting.

Funny how this often happens with Sterling.

proptrade - 15 Jul 2005 15:28 - 4550 of 7811

19.5 bid now.....

Pond Life - 15 Jul 2005 16:02 - 4551 of 7811

Fundamentalist - 15 Jul 2005 16:18 - 4552 of 7811

and finally we see 20p on the offer

proptrade - 15 Jul 2005 16:24 - 4553 of 7811

not any more! 20.25 offered!

Pond Life - 15 Jul 2005 16:32 - 4554 of 7811

Finished at 19.6 - 20.21 on line. Can't be much stock about and the price is being chased higher - which is nice!

seawallwalker - 15 Jul 2005 16:55 - 4555 of 7811

Great end to the week, it's now time to gloat.

Yes, a good week all round, with a nice strong finish for SEY at its all-time peak ready for more fun next week. No upward resitsance left (except gravity!) and a nice strong support beneath us at 18.75.
