Socs

hope everything is ok - sorry to hear your concerns

Socrates - 04 Jun 2005 08:42 - 4565 of 24230

Good morning all, up bright and early today and simple breakfast of cereals. Nice hot cuppa, just what the medical professional prescribed.

Morning socs

been up watching the rugby - time for a hearty brekkie then off to haydock races in a few hours

Fundy
Have a nice day, take an umbrella.

optomistic - 04 Jun 2005 10:47 - 4568 of 24230

Morning Socs, good healthy breakfast, takes some getting used to but after a while the FEB loses its appeal. Morning Fundy, good luck with the ponies.

Socrates - 04 Jun 2005 12:36 - 4569 of 24230

Opto
What are you saying? A good FEB never ever loses it's appeal. The day that happens I shall know that life as I know it is ended. I only had cereals this morning because I had an FEB last night and I have to ration myself. (Actually, I had used up the last of the bacon). "Her-indoors" has been dispatched this morning with instructions to bring home the bacon. Sunday is not Sunday without FEB.

Socs, you certainly are a traditionalist, I only have FEBS when on holiday and then only for the first two days....Cholesterol, prefer to watch the food rather than take statins.

Socrates - 04 Jun 2005 12:59 - 4571 of 24230

Opto
Yes I am a traditionalist. When I was young, cholesterol never existed and people just got on with life and enjoyed what there was of it. If I gave up everything that was (relatively) bad for me I might as well live in a monastery.

optomistic - 04 Jun 2005 13:21 - 4572 of 24230

I haven't given it ALL up Socs :-))

Fundamentalist - 04 Jun 2005 18:02 - 4573 of 24230

optomistic - 04 Jun 2005 19:21 - 4574 of 24230

I'm a bit late in Fundy but if you are still there I will join you in a Guiness, if not I'll have one on my own :-)

Fundamentalist - 04 Jun 2005 19:48 - 4575 of 24230

Opto

still around, just relaxing nicely before off out to dinner

2 more guinnesses coming up :-)

optomistic - 04 Jun 2005 19:53 - 4576 of 24230

Cheers Fundy, enjoy your winnings, pleasure to beat the book :-) not too much Guiness before the meal, I find it can take the edge of an appetite.

Big Al - 04 Jun 2005 20:24 - 4577 of 24230
