evening all, just got back home from up north, had a great time. I was marshalling at a fell run at Wincle Fete, bit odd really as I know nothing about the area and lots of runners asked me for info luckily most of the question were "where is the start" about the only question I did know the answer to.

Big Al - 05 Jun 2005 21:05 - 4590 of 24230

Take care, Socrates.

STORMCALLER - 05 Jun 2005 23:26 - 4591 of 24230

Socrates,

Thoughts are with you, I have found even when forewarned nothing quite prepares you, take care.

Sorry to hear your news, Old Socs. There's not much I can say at a time like this unfortunately.

Jeffie,

That fur would probably look better in something like this than a bikini. Especially after a weekend ooop Norf ...... it's blooming cold up there. I think I've caught pneumonia.

Spaceman - 06 Jun 2005 09:55 - 4594 of 24230

hilary, at least we both managed to get safely back home from "up north", I was pretty worried about the dangers I might find up there.

hilary - 06 Jun 2005 10:11 - 4595 of 24230

I'm off to see the doc for a check-up later, Spacie. Just to be on the safe side.

stockbunny - 06 Jun 2005 11:14 - 4596 of 24230

Sorry Socs and my thoughts are also with you.

What's all this about knitting?
There's spaghetti on the menu for lunch if anyone is feeling
creative!
;>)

This_is_me - 06 Jun 2005 11:33 - 4597 of 24230

Sorry socks - even when it's not a surprise it's still a shock that you will always tremember.

snoball - 06 Jun 2005 13:48 - 4598 of 24230

What were you doing up there Hils if you need a check up? :-)

stockbunny - 06 Jun 2005 13:51 - 4599 of 24230

Goodness it is quiet in here today!
Never mind I've got on well and already there are several
spaghetti items knitted for consumption:

1, A very smart spaghetti vest top for one of our gentlemen
served with tomato and cheese sauce.
2. A crop top for us ladies in tri-colour spaghetti served with
olive oil and pharmesan cheese.
3. For the really adventurous - spaghetti 'cheese cutters' served
with meat balls - of course! ;>)
LOL

Spaceman - 06 Jun 2005 15:23 - 4602 of 24230

stockbunny - 06 Jun 2005 15:28 - 4603 of 24230

Very cloudy, not that warm but it's got that oppressive feel
to it like it's going to go humid.

Spaceman - 06 Jun 2005 15:34 - 4604 of 24230

bright and sunny in hastings, sounds as though I made the right decision to work at home today. Unfortunatly I have to be in town for the next 3 days.
