DC I think we are hoping that they have been holding this back because if they did, it would be not different to the Barclays Libor case. Think of the people who have lost money on this share, if they did this I think they would be slaughtered !

pumben, I think as you say the 20th Aug is a key date. If they announced a oil find there would be major unrest. I still feel this has been held back, lets say in a legal way. ie not the right testing gear, stretching the drill time etc. We still need the oil to flow in a commercial form ? In the last quarter report I see the 5 mill given for the runway/ airport. Would we have committed to offshore with no oil onshore ?

Northland Capital sees the next couple of weeks as key for small cap oil firm Range Resources (LON:RRL).

The broker sees a win-win scenario for investors, as the shares are “invariably heavily correlated to Puntland results (for good and ill)”.

This means even if the imminent drilling results come up short, any potential fall in the share price could present an “interesting value opportunity”.

Shares lifted 1.5 per cent to 5.1 pence.

Puntland first two wells not looking good in my view.Seems to Come over in the video that they are drilling in the wrong place.

If these two come in as dusters, we are going to be a long way from shareholder value. PL seems to be pushing the other Range assets.

Fair sp for Range's overall assets would be about 10p.
