cynic - 17 May 2013 09:28 - 462 of 2763

today's plan ..... having happily banked my TCG profit yesterday, it's a racing certainty i'll also cash in my acceptable profit from C+M Index (NMX 2350) long ...... that'll leave dow short running, but i think i'm happy to do that even though i'll not often be near laptop for the next week

other individual stock positions i'll also leave open

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 09:34 - 463 of 2763

hey just seen this on twitter.....

Morgan Stanley who first realised the potential recovery of Thomas Cook, raise their target from 150 to 190.

You still in CYNIC ?????????

skinny - 17 May 2013 09:35 - 464 of 2763

Perhaps you should try reading the TCG thread post 959!

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 09:37 - 465 of 2763

he he have done bud.

Keep em coming skinny.

cynic - 17 May 2013 09:48 - 466 of 2763

TCG
a target is just that ..... meanwhile, my nice profit (sold at 164.7) is already safely tucked up in the bank and i see sp is now 157.25 mid ..... nuff sed?

if i so choose, i can always buy back in, but i think that unlikely for at least the next 7/10 days, not least as i still think the markets in general look horribly o'bought and i am more than happy to have reduced my (long) exposure over the last few days

cynic - 17 May 2013 10:39 - 467 of 2763

closed out C+M a bit early, but don't care at all as that was a very nice profit for a hold of only a few days

both C+M and HG+HC (in particular) can hop about a bit lively like, so it's very dangerous to get greedy, especially if you can't watch closely

cynic - 17 May 2013 11:00 - 468 of 2763

wow! i sold C+M at 3837 and was pretty happy .... since then, it has leapt to 3897!

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 12:54 - 469 of 2763

Blimey Cyners thats some volatilty.

Well done.

Brilliant performance.

cynic - 17 May 2013 13:15 - 470 of 2763

not exactly ..... i did very nicely selling out at 3837, though subsequent to that i have had a small dabble in HG+HC which is nicely in the money, but almost certain i'll sell that before close of biz

==================

which i have done at 10669 (+61) as am going out for an hour or so, and i still reckon dow will fall today

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 14:46 - 471 of 2763

Still reckon your the best trader Money am as ever seen.

Still a bit of a barsteward on thread 'talk to yourself'.................but I know myself how risky ig, is using BIG MONEY on cfds.

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 14:48 - 472 of 2763

Hard work but Tech sector looks very nice indeed.

Looks like rest of market hasnt caught on.

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 15:51 - 475 of 2763

RSL ballistic.

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 15:52 - 476 of 2763

Getting a bit worried.

Can this carry on?????????????????????????????

cynic - 17 May 2013 15:55 - 477 of 2763

no, not indefinitely, and when it does correct, as we all know, it plummets

goldfinger - 17 May 2013 16:33 - 478 of 2763

Yeah.

Fred1new - 17 May 2013 18:33 - 479 of 2763

GF.

Out of interest, how much has you pot increased percentage wise over the last 12 months?

I am a little surprise and "worried" how much I have and thinking of putting in closer and firmer stop losses.

B. off will do as an answer.
