Greetings all,
Back from Florence. Is that a Golden Cross I see on the chart?

Really low volume this morning. Hope you enjoyed Florence Pond Life, looks like a golden cross to me, but I'm no expert on these things.

Pondy - it certainly is a Golden X - telling us mostly what we already know, that the SP broke north recently. It should also suggest that we are good for a continuation of this rise into higher territory. I will be watching for a fall back through the 25dma that this continuation higher may still be some way off and there may be some more dips in between.
It depends how closely you have the time to watch the SP whether to buy and sell in and out of these minor movements, or like me hold for the future and weather the short term variations.

The SEY feature in the IC is on page 27, and is a full page!
It's ok, covers what we already know, mentioned all the drilling prospects, but sadly the journo has missed mentioning TIOF in the article!
he also needs to check where Madagascar is located.
I have rung the IC, and he's away, so I'll send him an email over the weekend.
Not the first time the IC has got it wrong recently, they stated GFM didn't have a licence to mine gold, when they did!

Nice way to end the week. Although the bid is 19.75, MMs are bidding 20p. More to come.

Aim,
well we are up .25p, probably MM's rasising the price in anticipation of IC readers generating some buying.

Oddly enough, it wasn't the offer that went up today - it was the bid that ticked up.

SWW - SEY's 23% has been diluted by the recent 11m fund-raising for 36% of the enlarged capital to 15%. Harry Wilson and the FD sit on the board. Dealing has opened with a small premium at 118p compared to 112p placing price.

From citywire
Edmond Jackson Comments
"Sterling, representing 9.6% of JOT, is expected to benefit from an astute financing deal with the Mauritanian government where Sterling gets an 8% stake in the Chinguetti oilfield scheduled for first oil in the first quarter of 2006 and planned to rapidly achieve peak production of 75,000 barrels per day. Sterlings E&P portfolio has other promising projects such as the Gulf of Mexico where success in gas should boost cash flow, also Madagascar and the Cameroons."

Hate to scaremonger but Sky has given a very brief report on a military coup in Mauritania. This was accompanied by a map pointing out Mauritius, so some confusion as to reality.
