Shadow,
What a blatent de-ramp, unless you have foundation for your statement I suggest you stop issuing dribble and also stop posting on AD*** as you are trying to influence people which I would suggest is illegal as significant amounts of money may well be involved.

Steep rise this morning, this could be due to the german gas drilling operations due to be completed by the end of this week.

Empyrean Energy says drilling started at Eagle North-1 appraisal well
AFX
LONDON (AFX) - Empyrean Energy PLC said drilling has started at the Eagle North-1 appraisal well in the San Joaquin Basin, California.
The AIM-listed company said the well, operated by Victoria Petroleum USA Inc, is to be drilled adjacent to a previous discovery well for oil and associated gas and is expected to take approximately 14 days to reach maximum depth in the vertical stage.
Empyrean has the right to earn a 38.5 pct working interest in the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project.
A statement from the company said an independent expert has estimated that the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project could contain a P50 (probability 50 pct unrisked) reserve of 7.1 mln barrels of recoverable oil and 12.3 bln cubic feet of associated gas, with the P10 assessment estimated at 22.7 mln barrels of oil and 22.7 bln cubic feet of associated gas.

Bought these for 42p on 3rd Jan, must confess to being a bit nervous as still hig-risk and spend alot of time travelling with work & this week set a stop-loss.
Glad it wasn't triggered. Question is will these fall back to allow top-ups & why so many trades when there are supposed to be few shares available.

Andysmith let me reccomend another stock: ELP!!!!
Its fate will be deicded within 4 weeks vis-a-vis its plan to explore for oil in the North Sea........ A reall prospect and a doubler!!!!!!!! Please put it on your watchlist at the very least and watch this motha move into gear..... its worth a punt alothugh the exploration is not guaranteed but alot of good press coming from Norway about this

jamell06, the Jaguar drill for ELP is very high risk, I agree if the result is good it will be a company maker, if the result is bad though its a massive drop in the SP, as its the main prospect. Dana recently farmed it out, and I fear that there is not much faith in it, but it could of course.
EME is a much better prospect, due to them having lower risk Eagle Pool, and high risk Germany. Just my opinions.

Fondsfinans-analytiker Lars Marius Furu anbefaler kundene kje London-noterte Elixir Petroleum.
Furu sl fast at dagens bskurs impliserer bare to prosent sannsynlighet for et oljefunn pJaguar-feltet. Potensialet er phele 3.400 prosent!
Dersom Jaguar-feltet skulle feile, er ikke fallhyden stre enn 30 prosent. Aksjen sp opp 180 prosent ved 20 prosent sannsynlighet for oljefunn.

jameel06 my concern on Jaguar is that people think it will show oil, but not be commerical enough in quantity. This was the thinking behind the fact that Dana farmed it out to DNO. If Dana were confident, why farm most of it out to DNO and therefore lose the potential gains ?

papalpower - - -see below which suggests that DNO has still major interest in an completely unexplored site:
Elixir Petroleum Ltd (ASX code: EXR, AIM: ELP) (Elixir or the Company) is delighted to announce that its farminee partner, DNO UK Ltd (DNO), has secured a drilling rig for an exploration well on the joint ventures high impact Jaguar prospect in Northern North Sea Block 211/22b.
The Jaguar well will test a new stratigraphic play as yet untested in the UKCS Northern North Sea. The concept however has been commercially proven in nearby Norwegian waters.
The semi-submersible rig, Bredford Dolphin, has been contracted to drill Jaguar. It is currently drilling a well for Dana Petroleum in neighbouring Block 211/22a and on current commitments and estimated timing the spud date on Jaguar is estimated to be around mid January 2006.
The Jaguar well is expected to take 45 days and reach a total depth of approximately 3,950 metres.
DNO holds the remaining 60% interest in Block 211/22b and will meet 92.5% of the Jaguar well costs under the terms of farmin agreement signed with Elixir in June 2005. The farmin represents a return to the UKCS by DNO, which is an active explorer and owns producing assets in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
The Company believes that very few other junior oil and gas explorers, if any, will be participating in such a high potential exploration well as Jaguar over the next few months.
Russell Langusch, Elixirs Managing Director, said, Following so close behind our Muness earn-in announcement in late October, this is great news. Our strategy of participating in a number of potential company-making North Sea exploration wells is gaining momentum with Muness planned to be spudded later this month and Jaguar now in mid January 2006.

jameel this is the news release from Dana Petroleum on Block211/22a (which is next door to Jaguar Block 211/22b). They suddenly farmed it out and nothing major found there. Water bearing with nominal oil shows.
I cannot say whether you should buy or sell, just saying that this is high risk, yes there is a chance it will be a massive find, and also a good chance it will contain nothing much at all.
http://www.dana-petroleum.com/Press/pr_121205.htm
Northern North Sea Exploration 12th December 2005
The exploration well in Block 211/22a (Clachnaben) found the main Brent sandstone target to be present as prognosed. Although minor oil shows were observed, the reservoir was found to be predominately water-bearing and the well is therefore being plugged and abandoned. Dana's technical team continued to work the data from this area right up to the point of drilling and determined this prospect to carry more risk than other North Sea wells Dana is planning for early in 2006. Therefore Dana decided to redirect funds to the important forthcoming appraisal wells in the Babbage and Anglia gas fields and thus significantly reduced its cost exposure to the 211/22a well by farming out just ahead of drilling.
