Why do you belive me not DC - my birth name ends with an ey and not ie. It won't take a rocket scientist work out my actual first name. GL next week.

cynic - 19 Aug 2012 19:35 - 4751 of 5221

no i don't hold even 12 of these, though you are right that i quite often trade a share via cfd if it has momentum .... it's far from infallible, but a good way of leveraging into something moving sharply north .... by the way, if you want to meet up next w/e and through the following week, you'll need to hop on your bike and join some fun on la route des vins in alsace .... Mistress (Toya) knows how to post my pix on here, but i'm afraid it is beyond my prehistoric brain

dreamcatcher - 19 Aug 2012 19:48 - 4752 of 5221

Thought you have only just got back from hols ? We will all be old like you one day. lol
:-)) Cannot avoid it .lol

dreamcatcher - 19 Aug 2012 19:50 - 4753 of 5221

It may move sharply south.?

cynic - 19 Aug 2012 20:35 - 4754 of 5221

that was a whole month ago(!!), but always go cycling for a week in france over the august b/h ...... back from that, then almost straight off to dubai and saudi - def not hol! ..... great advantage of being unemployable is that you get to take days off (golf etc) and longer breaks pretty much as suits ..... God bless modern technology

dreamcatcher - 19 Aug 2012 21:17 - 4755 of 5221

Good for you c. Take the old laptop plenty of good shares at the moment to make money on. Have a good break.

3 monkies - 19 Aug 2012 21:20 - 4756 of 5221

God Love you Cynic. Hope your balls are in a correct order for cyclling, golfing and which every order you want them to be. Not playing any more cynic games had enough years ago - try hole in one - remember.

dreamcatcher - 19 Aug 2012 21:24 - 4757 of 5221

WHAT???????????? lol

dreamcatcher - 19 Aug 2012 21:26 - 4758 of 5221

PS, cycling and wine do not mix. :-)) Halfords sell the stabilizers for old boys on their bikes. lol

3 monkies - 19 Aug 2012 21:39 - 4759 of 5221

HILLERIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cynic - 20 Aug 2012 07:05 - 4760 of 5221

we leave for strasbourg early friday morning , and that will be a very quiet day ahead of the b/h, and get back to uk the following thursday evening ..... shan't miss much, but as always when i go away, i shall take some money (profit even!) off the table as a prudent precaution ..... CFDs can be very scary if not watched

dreamcatcher - 20 Aug 2012 21:57 - 4761 of 5221

The company would like to advise that the scheduled Q&A session is now proposed to be posted on Friday, 24th August.

Gerponville18 - 21 Aug 2012 07:15 - 4762 of 5221

This means the Q & A is a week late isn't?
Must be more delayed tactics from our Mr PL...........Could be good news on the way..........Maybe, the bad news is imminent, and therefore he is hoping the dust will have settled prior to Friday/Monday?

What a blinking share this is!

pumben - 21 Aug 2012 07:24 - 4763 of 5221

yep as stated earlier, missed deadline after deadline, unbelievable !

kimoldfield - 21 Aug 2012 08:04 - 4764 of 5221

Down 9% on ASX and Red Emperor shares suspended on ASX pending an announcement in relation to a drilling update.

Gerponville18 - 21 Aug 2012 08:17 - 4765 of 5221

Seems to me that; fingers on the sell button, take a loss, let them find the basement level..........Then buy back in........Just a thought!

kimoldfield - 21 Aug 2012 08:23 - 4766 of 5221

RNS due anytime between now and the opening of the ASX, sp will no doubt bounce around like a demented rubber ball until it is released!

Gerponville18 - 21 Aug 2012 08:28 - 4767 of 5221

Can't be any more demented than us poor investors!

cynic - 21 Aug 2012 08:36 - 4768 of 5221

why buy back in at all? ...... certainly it's prudent to cut losses even if belatedly, but that is not a good reason for throwing in new money later

Gerponville18 - 21 Aug 2012 08:54 - 4769 of 5221

It is only what I have done on a number of shares of late, too name but a few;

1 - Border and Southern..........Bought shares at 16p, sold at 20p.......Made up my lose from the massive lose.
2 - FOGL.........Added further shares to my portfolio at 67p...........Sold a number at 95p. I am waiting for them to fall back to 80p? Then I will buy back in.
3 - Paper loss on Aviva, as I bought at £3.03, bought more shares at £2.48, sold the additional shares at £3.30p.

As you know cynic, one can make very good money when a share is struggling!
