Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Have you noticed there are only 3 kinds of people in the world?
Those that can count and those that can't.

I was reading somewhere that the average depth of the ocean is about 3000 metres. Imagine how much deeper it would be if there were not all those sponges living down there.
In fact, there is the answer to the problem of global warming raising the sea levels. Breed loads and loads of sea-sponges and dump them in the sea to mop it up a bit.
See, even the difficult problems of our age just need a bit of clear thinking to solve.
Now. The middle east.......................

Great piccy, driver. Didn't realise the yanks had developed an underwater space shuttle.
probably fishing for sponges to help with global warming.

alan, my passage isn't really big enough to accomodate a compass but it does have a certain notoriety as most of bolton has seen it at one time or another :))

Blair axes soft
About bloody time (if its true, headline was in the sun) we as a nation are far to soft on criminals. The tree hugging liberals whining about civil rights etc.
As far as I can see if you commit a crime and are sentenced you should lose your rights to be pampered. Life should mean 25 year min - no early release - If you misbehave they should add time on.
I really dont like the idea of long prison sentences for murders, rapists and drug dealers, I'd rather alter the current system and bring in the death penalty. Not the pathetic american system but a real deterent and a real punishment fit for the dregs of society.

I would bring back the death penalty for taking two spaces in a car park.
That really frosts my nuts.
