There should be plenty of room in fundy's local tonight - those socks should be ripe by now.

So, this is Saturday is it? Well I suppose I had just better have a FEB. Then it is a few jobs followed by a mandatory TV session, Trooping of the Colour, an absolute must.

Fundamentalist - 11 Jun 2005 08:10 - 4777 of 24230

Morning socs

ill join you with the FEB but the absolute must for me is the lions rugby this morning

Socrates - 11 Jun 2005 08:41 - 4778 of 24230

Each to ones own Fundy, rugby is foreign territory for me but my big brother loves it. He follows the Leicester lot, no accounting for taste is there?

Fundamentalist - 11 Jun 2005 09:11 - 4779 of 24230

Just popped back at half time for another coffee - indeed socs - each to their own. Saracens man myself but for the next few weeks its all about the Lions

Spaceman - 11 Jun 2005 09:54 - 4780 of 24230

morning all,
Last night life sprung one of its nasty surprises when a friend to many of us here posted that she has been diagnosed with cancer. It makes you realise how suddenly life can change.

Nice day here in Hastings, quiet weekend for me lots of paperwork to sort out.

Fundy, did you get anywhere with yours friends HP PC? I posted a bit of info yesterday.

Socrates - 11 Jun 2005 09:55 - 4781 of 24230

Talking about lions, I've just delivered our pussy to the cattery. He has a short holiday in Stalag Luft Cat.

Pot of tea and danish again please, getting quite fond of danish, always been fond of tea.

Socrates - 11 Jun 2005 10:13 - 4783 of 24230

Opto
No, Tesco GP done earlier this week, this weekend is being taken up with an altogether sadder occasion.

Fundamentalist - 11 Jun 2005 10:56 - 4784 of 24230

Socs

they played more like pussies than lions :-)

Spaceman,

thanks for that - your diagnosis is spot on - it is a hardware fault - the motherboard has failed and is being replaced

snoball - 11 Jun 2005 11:24 - 4785 of 24230

Hi y'all. Weather sunny with a bit of a chill in the east wind here in Sussex.
It'll soon be time for a FE Brunch.

Morning crew

Evening crew!

STORMCALLER - 11 Jun 2005 23:43 - 4788 of 24230

Hi all from the night crew,

Novelty day today, unfortunately (?) had to miss out on trolley grand-prix as I was invited to attend a full-immersion baptism. I have not witnessed one before so didn't know what to expect. In a way it was surprising, in the sense that there was no heavy-handed evangelising, though naturally invitations to join, but low-key. It was also uplifting, from the point of view that there seemed a genuine joy amongst the congregation for each candidate, whether they knew them or not, so overall a nice day. My hope now is that the individual I was there to support, who has issues, gains the peace he seeks from this experience.

optomistic - 12 Jun 2005 09:23 - 4789 of 24230

Morning crew, I hope not too many have abandoned ship. Makes the rowing very hard work for the few that are left :-(

optomistic - 12 Jun 2005 09:52 - 4790 of 24230

Right time for breakfast, Kettles on, all healthy eating this morning so if anyone wants a FEB there is some greenish looking stuff that could be bacon at the side of the fridge, may have been there a day or two! definately a cook it yourself job.
Croissants and danish freshly baked this morning :-)

Spaceman - 12 Jun 2005 10:01 - 4791 of 24230

MOrning optimistic.
