morning all,
Last night life sprung one of its nasty surprises when a friend to many of us here posted that she has been diagnosed with cancer. It makes you realise how suddenly life can change.
Nice day here in Hastings, quiet weekend for me lots of paperwork to sort out.
Fundy, did you get anywhere with yours friends HP PC? I posted a bit of info yesterday.

Talking about lions, I've just delivered our pussy to the cattery. He has a short holiday in Stalag Luft Cat.

they played more like pussies than lions :-)
Spaceman,
thanks for that - your diagnosis is spot on - it is a hardware fault - the motherboard has failed and is being replaced

Hi all from the night crew,
Novelty day today, unfortunately (?) had to miss out on trolley grand-prix as I was invited to attend a full-immersion baptism. I have not witnessed one before so didn't know what to expect. In a way it was surprising, in the sense that there was no heavy-handed evangelising, though naturally invitations to join, but low-key. It was also uplifting, from the point of view that there seemed a genuine joy amongst the congregation for each candidate, whether they knew them or not, so overall a nice day. My hope now is that the individual I was there to support, who has issues, gains the peace he seeks from this experience.

Right time for breakfast, Kettles on, all healthy eating this morning so if anyone wants a FEB there is some greenish looking stuff that could be bacon at the side of the fridge, may have been there a day or two! definately a cook it yourself job.
Croissants and danish freshly baked this morning :-)
