Morning all, not late, just catching up with a few things before posting. Such is life. Kettle's on, tea and toast coming up.

daves dazzlers - 14 Jun 2005 08:44 - 4823 of 24230

Sounds good to me back in a bit.

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 08:51 - 4824 of 24230

Toast would be nice this morning Socs, need something nice and light, I'm under the car this morning changing the oil and filter. Not all morning though, I have my own room indoors where I can get some quiet :-)

daves dazzlers - 14 Jun 2005 08:58 - 4825 of 24230

Macca,i thought you would of had a game on this week !

Socrates - 14 Jun 2005 08:59 - 4826 of 24230

Opto
Changing oil and filters is something I leave to better qualified people. Besides, I don't then have the bother of getting rid of the oil. Toast is ready. I've cut mine into soldiers to dip into my boiled egg, nice.

jeffmack - 14 Jun 2005 09:01 - 4827 of 24230

DD, you sorted any out for York today

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 09:06 - 4828 of 24230

Socs I've changed oil and filters since I was a lad, must have saved a small fortune. Just marmalade on my toast, no egg this morning had one yesterday.
Market not looking over bright so far.

daves dazzlers - 14 Jun 2005 09:08 - 4829 of 24230

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 09:17 - 4830 of 24230

Cold and damp in York today Dave, they will all have stiff achey joints.... the horses won't feel too good either.

Socrates - 14 Jun 2005 09:17 - 4831 of 24230

Opto
It's only money, I'm sure you have better things to do with your time. Besides, it's so messy! I make it a rule to know as little as possible about what goes on under the bonnet.

More tea Vicar?

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 10:09 - 4832 of 24230

Oil & filter changed and me cleaned up! Now for another pot of tea and a danish.
Anybody seen a bunny about.

Socrates - 14 Jun 2005 10:34 - 4833 of 24230

Is it a small furry thing with big ears?

hilary - 14 Jun 2005 10:35 - 4834 of 24230

I wonder if Steve Finnan likes porridge, Dazzler?

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 10:42 - 4835 of 24230

Ears are extra long owing to them being crossed so often. Big feet as well Socs.

Socrates - 14 Jun 2005 10:45 - 4836 of 24230

Boots?

daves dazzlers - 14 Jun 2005 10:51 - 4837 of 24230

Has he knocked another person down ?

Socrates - 14 Jun 2005 10:56 - 4838 of 24230

One of my investments is up 17% today, golly. MGP, a real dog in my opinion but 17% cannot be sniffed at. I just hope it doesn't fall back. I bought 24,000 on a whim. If it goes on like this I could be worth a fortune, well 100 at least!

hilary - 14 Jun 2005 11:02 - 4839 of 24230

No Dazzler, the same one. To tell you the truth, I saw the story and hadn't realised that it happened back in January..

optomistic - 14 Jun 2005 11:39 - 4840 of 24230

Well Socs MGP really does look to be an exciting venture have you any plans as to how you will spend your gain :-)
