Kingston Communications is an established UK communications company. The Group's national business-to-business capabilities encompass the provision of fully integrated and managed network solutions, complemented by the delivery of voice, data and call handling services in the towns and cities served by the Kingston Communications network. This infrastructure comprises twenty-five metropolitan fibre networks and a long distance broadband network, which was initiated for service in May 2001. Kingston's new media activities include the DSL-based interactive television service, KIT, and satellite broadband content, storage and distribution arm, Kingston inmedia. The Group's East Yorkshire network operation has served business and residential customers since 1904.

I have just gone onto 'youview' via KC.

The installer came rom Barnsley to the Beverley area where I live.

He and several other installers have been sub contracted for most if not all of the youview installations as most of KC's own employees are busy with full broadband installations and youview new customers are increasing at some speed.

Whilst I appreciate that KC have always used sub contractors, speaking to our installer I did get the impression that they have never been so busy and that many of their new customers are coming over from SKY.

Also fibre optic is slowly but surely gaining ground in the KC area with our area still on the waiting list.

Sometimes you can find out interesting info from talking to those on the ground.

Heavy volume ahead of Tomorrow's update.

Yes and funny how as the sells volume mounted up the offer increased with it.

Never seen such a sign that the mms want your shares, just waiting for those large late buy trades.

I expect the update figures to be over expectations with a small increase in the next dividend as per my post 501.
