chuckles, I know at the end of the day we are all old enough to gamble, but I think the investors were lead on by lets say pie in the sky figures from the 3 boards of directors in this drill did not help one bit.Emails from pl flying about, videos . Way over hyped. ie 75 - 80% chance of being commercial from KH hmmmmm The investor looks at the board of directors and has to trust them ? Also do not know where the figures were dreamt up by the brokers of rrl for future sp value. You could say very misleading ? All helps to draw in the investor.
I spent hours researching this company you could say a waste of time .

dreamcatcher, brokers talk rubbish most of the time with AIM stocks, most of the time they're trying to shift the next stock issue, or at least preparing the ground for same. So called analysts usually have a vested interest so they're not going to talk the Sp down either, paid rampers IMO. The PI will never have the access the big boys have to make an informed decision, so have to manage with whatever info is out there and it's hit and miss if it's enough.
I'm afraid most will have lost out, either lost profits, or actual losses and perhaps even both. Shame really, when at 25p there was money there for the taking.
Fear and greed, powerful emotions in the markets.

I for one have learned. It was greed, excitement and stupidity, as I was convinced with all the hype it was going places. Did not think this was going to join the rest of my crap. Hey ho it has. What will be will be now, any good news will be welcome.

finished -6.69%. Was 20% down at 1 point and even blue at one stage. With the general market pointing downwards due to Eurozone and still short week and the Putland update, I would expect it to end down more than that today but probably not as low as I originally thought.
As i said earlier lets see where we are at the end of Friday post T&T update ! Has PL been saving some good news for once.

Fox-Davivies Capital.
Range Resourses - ASX:RRS) - After Puntland, a Dreadlock Holiday is Just the Tonic: While the Puntland drilling update is disappointing, it contributes a relatively low percentage to the overall valuation, which is dominated by the producing US and Trinidadian assets, and to a lesser extent by the next phase of the Puntland exploration programme in the Nugaal block and the Georgian asset's near-term appraisal of the CBM potential. As highlighted earlier this year (March), Trinidad is the key focus, which in itself covers off most of the stages in the development cycle, from rejuvenating old wells, bringing new areas on production and untested prospectivity. While Shabeel has been disappointing, there is still further drilling to be done in this frontier region, which could yet result in significant increases in value. In order to reflect the non-commerciality of Shabeel and Shabeel North, we have marked the volumes associated with the Shabeel complex to zero, which has reduced our target price by 3p to 24p. However, given the fact RRL has only limited exposure to Puntland, and the majority of the value is derived from its Trinidadian assets, investors should take advantage of the inevitable weakness to gain exposure to the stock. While this news is disappointing, we are reiterating our BUY recommendation
So it is not all bad news after all!

Depends who you are flying with..........We flew by Thompsons to Rhodes........Cost £35 for the pleasure of taking the laptop(s).........Made money though on Standard Life and Chemring, worth the aching shoulder at the end of the holiday though?
