Just got back in - 6 hrs up the scaffold with a hot air gun - currently a nice shade of pink, which i expect will develop into a nice painful red later!!!

time for a nice cold beer

snoball - 18 Jun 2005 17:24 - 4997 of 24230

My sympathys Fundy. I had to do the same last year when doing maintenance on my barge boards.

Morning all

feel like cr*p this morning - too much heat (sun and hot air gun) yesterday, all wahsed down with a few too many beers.

Quiet day today with the sunday papers watching the cricket

optomistic - 19 Jun 2005 13:43 - 5008 of 24230

Bit hot for a pot of tea today so I'll go for a large glass of chilled fruit juice.

Socrates - 19 Jun 2005 14:25 - 5009 of 24230

Good afternoon all, boot fair and antiques fair were on the menu today. Very hot and humid, who needs to travel to tropical climes? Hot enough here.

optomistic - 19 Jun 2005 14:46 - 5010 of 24230

Hello Socs, I've been so busy today....cleaned the fans on the PC tower. Thought the unit might appreciate a little fresh air. BTW the rechargable batteries in the mouse are lasting as long as FOUR days lol. Couldn't keep up with the non rechargable ones.

Socrates - 19 Jun 2005 14:57 - 5011 of 24230

Opto
My Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse uses 2 x AA batteries. I use Duracell, you know, the ones that keep bunnies going longer! They last for several weeks, a month is typical, sounds like you may have a duff mouse. So far, I've not had to change the keyboard batteries at all.
