High Copper and Silver Grades Confirmed at 'Doris'
(Paguanta Project in Northern Chile)
Highlights:
� Further surface sampling at 'Doris' prospect confirms recent high grade
assays
� Copper assays up to 3.3% copper
� Silver assay up to 617g/t silver (19.8 oz/t)
� Copper result also returned from a surface sample to the west of La Rosa
Herencia Resources Plc (AIM: HER) is pleased to advise the confirmation of high
grade surface copper and silver assay results from further sampling at the
'Doris' prospect at its Paguanta Project in northern Chile. The high grade assay
results were obtained from 'rock-chip' sampling over a distance of approximately
750m, and included the area previously sampled and announced to the Market on 12
August 2010. The results are tabled below:

AAS AA26 ore grade finish DL - Pb 0.01-30%, Zn 0.01 -30%, Ag 1-1500ppm,
Sample ID co-ordinate grid is PSAD56 UTM Zone 19S.
In addition to the above results, two lead assays of 1.57% and 1.64% were
returned from samples 813070 and 813071 respectively. Of note is that sample
813069, which returned 1.4% copper and 61g/t silver, was taken on the western
edge of the La Rosa porphyry copper target.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director Michael Bohm stated:
"It is pleasing to confirm the recent high grade copper and silver surface
assays at the 'Doris' prospect. We will be looking to follow-up with a
systematic mapping and sampling program at Doris over the next two or three
months to further investigate this very significant copper target.
Our immediate focus, however, is to complete all technical work to allow us to
finalise and announce an updated Mineral Resource Estimate ("MRE") for Paguanta.
We expect to receive the completed drill hole database early next week, which
will allow our Geological Consultants to update the MRE and complete their QA/QC
protocols. We anticipate announcing the 2010 Mineral Resource Estimate by month
end.
We also expect to release the results of our Dense Media Separation ("DMS") test
work during September, so it will be a busy month for us here at Herencia."

By late morning the mid-market share price had moved up 0.29p to 1.1p

I've been informed from a friend that the regular pump and dump squad
from advfn are all over this, hence if you wait a few days it will be back
under 1p, suicidal to chase 9 times out of ten in these pump and dumps,
one carries on climbing, maybe Her but i wont take the risk, i looked at
the results 2 mins after they came out at 0.81p offer and nothing made
me want to buy them then so i aint paying 1.35p for them now, some
volume though.

traded it at least 5-10 times today and with it 1p it's always going to swell the

Herencia highlighted that one of the samples grading 1.4% copper and 61g/t silver was taken on the western edge of Paguantas La Rosa porphyry copper target. Additionally, two samples also contained lead at grades of 1.57% and 1.64%.

Bohm said that September is a busy month for Herencia, emphasising that the immediate focus is on the completion of Paguantas updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

We expect to receive the completed drill hole database early next week, which will allow our Geological Consultants to update the MRE, Bohm said.

We anticipate announcing the 2010 Mineral Resource Estimate by month end.

The results of Dense Media Separation (DMS) testwork is also expected later this month.

Late yesterday the company reported its interim results for the six months to 30th June 2010.

Herencia highlighted its swift advancement of Paguanta, with 5,500m drilling programme completed during the period.

John Moore, Herencia chairman, said the timing of Paguantas development is set to take advantage of higher commodity prices.

We believe the Paguanta Project will continue, as it has during 2010, to deliver positive news flow for the company and we remain confident that increasing zinc and lead prices forecast by some analysts will eventuate, as this could coincide with Paguanta coming on stream.

As such, the company plans to begin a feasibility study during the 4th quarter of 2010.

In reference to the successful drilling programme, Moore highlighted: Almost immediately, we achieved success in identifying a new high grade mineralised vein.

The drilling was concluded at the end of June.

The high grade assay results announced to the market support, yet again, our firm belief that Paguanta is shaping up as a near term mine development opportunity for the company, and one that has significant potential upside, Moore said.

What continues to greatly encourage us is that after four drilling campaigns the mineralisation still remains open along strike (in both directions) and down dip.

We continue to intersect high grades at depth, we are still encountering new high grade veins, and gold continues to be reported in nearly every new hole drilled.
