daviddavid - 04 Jan 2004 18:02

Our software has been alerted by these last 2 days,no tip anywhere, risen sharply for 2 days on excessive volume, this could see some action on monday morning.Worth a look.

publess - 04 Jan 2004 19:46 - 5 of 14

Oh please, it's getting worse - we're really into lala land here....volume alerts MMs!

bigbobjoylove - 04 Jan 2004 19:49 - 6 of 14

sorry meant it as volume alerts MMs and then they get defensive and tree shake and all that.Still no reason for sudden surge last week so i to will watch and investigate further.Looks a good spot to me daviddavid, what software do u use or is it a breakout that alerted you??

publess - 04 Jan 2004 19:53 - 7 of 14

daviddaviddaviddaviddavid,

Go on, what "software" exactly - MS MakeMoney, perhaps?

bigbobjoylove - 04 Jan 2004 20:23 - 8 of 14

note a few posters rate this on various BBs,been tipped in rags as well i do believe, nap for 2004.

brianboru - 04 Jan 2004 20:36 - 9 of 14

"been tipped in rags as well i do believe, nap for 2004"

Which rags? daviddavid claims in his opening post "not tipped anywhere". Maybe you lot should spend more time preparing these ramps?

Diogenes - 06 Jan 2004 21:18 - 10 of 14

Lol. I've been holding these for a couple of years, and they have been tipped by the IC and others from time to time, but at much lower prices. The only person tipping at the moment is Robbie Burns, for whom I have some respect. He has said he will take profits at 200p, but he doesn't say why he thinks they are worth that much. They may be one day: but they look very highly priced to me at the moment, not to say overpriced, at 173p.

There is absolutely no sign that anyone is interested in taking them over. Volume has been a little higher than usual over the last few days, but no one could have built a significant stake with the tiny quantities traded. Anyway, who could afford to buy the company at the current price? Any engineering company taking over Hydro on a historic PE of 30 (and a prospective PE of 25.5) would suffer immediate earnings dilution. It is a tightly run company and there are few savings to be made.

Yes a few posters do rate them but actually same poster with diff names.
Bigbob here Stokesy on another and so the list goes on.
Unfortunately they do seem to have managed to ramp price wonder what happens when they sell.

Hydro International's acquisition of Settled Solids Management (SSM) looks interesting and rating modest - More at: http://www.investorschampion.com/blog/
