Indicators have turned positive
This was taken from the last set of figures received which means that forward looking they had some strong orders.
LONDON (AFX) - Farsight PLC posted narrower first half losses and said it
has a strong order book for the remainder of the financial year.
For the six months to end November, the video surveillance company posted a
loss of 501,000 stg against a loss of 978,000 a year earlier on sales of 431,000
stg compared to 597,000.
It also said the first stage of a contract with Johnson Workplace Management
has been commissioned following a three month planning and mobilisation period.
Basepoint said the potential value of this contract is a minimum of 250,000
stg over the next two years in terms of consultancy and remote video monitoring.
Sales revenues from remote video monitoring operations continue to grow, the
company said.
"New client monitoring contracts are growing by between 15,000-35,000 stg
per month," it said.
It added that it has raised 750,000 stg via a secured convertible loan
facility. This will enable the company to repay its legacy debts and "provide
sufficient working capital for the company's present requirements".
It said 2004 will see a positive cash flow from operations, and a continued
improvement in trading performance.
