TRINIDAD UPDATE

Range Resources Limited ("Range" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the
following operational update with respect to a number of its wells on the Morne
Diablo license in Trinidad.

The QUN 130 well has reached its target depth of 1,300 ft. with well logs
indicating a well-developed likely oil pay zone from 1,210-1,290 ft. with a
secondary likely oil pay zones from 1,080-1,140 ft. as well as a shallow
resistive sand at 275-300ft. Completion operations were finalised late last
week and production tests commenced over the weekend.

The well was produced on a 6/32" choke and flowed approximately 170 bopd (circa
7.5 bop hour) before being opened up on a 8/32" choke and flowed at
approximately 330 bopd (circa 14 bop hour) before having to reduce the choke
back to 6/32" due to the high pressures encountered at this depth. The well
maintained the flow at approximately 170 bopd, with production having been
stabilised at circa 150 bopd.

The Company is extremely encouraged by this well which has indicated that there
is a new extended Lower Forest oil zone below the 1,000 ft. level that has been
the focus of development to date, and this may transition into the productive
Upper Cruse sands. In addition, the well showed higher than expected pressure
for these depths resulting in encouraging production rates.

The QUN 132 well has also reached its target depth of 1,000 ft. and well logs
have been acquired. Given the encouraging performance of the QUN 130 well, the
Company has commenced the deepening of QUN 132 to target the deeper Lower
Forest sands that were encountered in the QUN 130 well.

The QUN 134 well was spud over the weekend and is targeting the eastward
extension of the Lower Forest trend.

The QUN 131 well has been perforated and is under test.

Work was also completed on the perforation of the remaining Lower Forest sands
in an older well, QUN 97 which is located on the western end of the newer Lower
Forest wells (closest to the initial Lower Forest wells drilled by Range). This
well was placed into production and achieved initial production of circa 60+
bopd and stabilized at circa 30 bopd.

The Company is also looking at a number of other older wells located in close
proximity to the western end of the newer Lower Forest development wells to
determine the possibility of re-entering and deepening them to test for the
deeper Lower Forest sandstones recently identified.

As previously announced the MD248 has spud and is drilling away with a proposed
target depth of 6,500 ft (expected to take 6-8 weeks). The MD248 is the first
well to utilize the Company's Rig 8, which has the deepest operating capability
in the fleet, and will subsequently move on to test deeper objectives,
including the prolific Herrera Formation.

Range now has 4 drilling rigs in operation on the Morne Diablo license and is
extremely encouraged with its Trinidad projects. The Company is targeting to
bring the remaining 2 rigs into operation within the next 1 to 2 months.

Good news at long last.........Let's see how the market views the news?

A blue finish, but only just, wouldn't expect much else at the moment though.

Why I ask, did "Horn" at one point today almost double (currently at 55%), and "Red Emperor" finished the day at +17%, and Range stay at where they were last week?

Surely, with all the "GOOD NEWS" coming from Trinidad we should start seeing the rise of the SP on Range..........Or am I missing something?

Rumour that Range, rmp, Horn to sell interests in puntland ? Something is ago.

I suspect cash is the problem.

Range Resources receives A$0.26 price target from UK broker Old Park Lane Capital

Impressive flow rates from Range Resources’ recently completed QUN 130 well on the Morne Diablo field has prompted UK broker Old Park Lane Capital to issue a share price target of A$0.26, over three times the company’s last traded share price of $0.077. Range Resources’ (ASX: RRS) has received a BUY recommendation and a A$0.26 share price target, over three times the company’s last traded share price of $0.077, from Old Park Lane Capital following success on the recently completed QUN 130 well on the Morne Diablo field.

The following is a copy of the report.

Range announced very impressive flow rates from the recently completed QUN 130 well on the Morne Diablo field.

The well probed the highly promising Lower Forest sands where the company is concentrating its current programme of drilling and testing activities on a further four wells.

- The QUN 130 well encountered a well developed pay zone at 1,210-1,290 feet and two additional pay zones at shallower horizons.

Subsequent production testing flowed 170 bopd on a 6/32” choke before being opened up to 8/32” to flow approximately 330 bopd. The well was choked back due to high pressures and production stabilised at an impressive 150 bopd.

- QUN 130 is very encouraging not only with regards to flow rates but the well also indicates a new extended Lower Forest oil zone below 1,000 feet.

This play is believed to transition into the productive Upper Cruse sands. The QUN 132 well, which reached a target depth of 1,000 feet, is now being deepened in order to target the productive sands that were encountered in QUN 130.

- QUN 134 was spudded over the weekend and is targeting the eastward extension of the Lower Forest trend.

QUN 131 has also been perforated and is now under test. Work was also completed on the perforation of the remaining Lower Forest sands in an older well, QUN 97 and the well initially produced over 60 bopd. QUN 97 is now on stabilised production of c.30 bopd.

- Range is now looking at the potential to re-enter a number of older wells in the proximity of the western end of the newer Lower Forest development wells in order to deepen them and test the Lower Forest sandstone trend that the company has recently identified.

- Range has now also spudded the MD 248 well using rig 8 to target the Middle Cruse sands at 4,000 feet in addition to the Lower Cruse horizon at target depth of 6,500 feet.

This is Range’s first well to target both formations and a successful outcome could accelerate production growth from the Morne Diablo field substantially. The well is expected to take between six to eight weeks to drill.

With four drilling rigs in operation and two more expected to join the fray within two months, Range continues to gather momentum in Trinidad.

This progress could be accelerated further when the results of the MD 248 well, which is targeting considerably deeper formations, are known within the next eight weeks.

Leave the prison walls at around 5.00 a.m. Friday woshhhhhhhhhhhh then this bird will be gone - Hopefully. Cannot see any excitement here on rrl or anything else I have for quite some time GL to you and all in the meantime.
