Rumour of the day

Vislink rose p at 32p amid talk that the developer of broadcast TV technology could unveil a clutch of US and UK contract wins next week after the close of its first-half trading period tomorrow. Its Hernis CCTV division is also said to have secured orders in China.

Up a bit and early today which may mean that some large buy orders will come in late in the afternoon. The potential for good contract news next week means its still very strong.

Robbie Burns got in at 37p on the 30th June with a target of 50p which sounds fine but 65p target would have been better.

Link Research Launches LinkHD Wireless HD Camera System

Link Research has added a new HD receiver to the prototype transmitter displayed at NAB this year and is now ready to accept orders for the complete HD wireless camera system. Deliveries are planned for Q1 2006.

Goldman Sachs holding 7,197,828 (5.3%) from RNS today.

Moving up today, order book could be strong and would expect news Monday morning now but a chance might be this afternoon once the US is open.

Strong buying yesterday but it was all mixed up due to delayed large trade reporting I think sells are around 70K of todays volume which will make Monday very strong again and we are due contract news.

The 7th July Holdings news of Goldman Sachs means they have purchased another 1 million shares to take their holding to 5.3% from 4/6%.

PpP: I dithered on this one, opting to forego the divivdend for a capital gain afterwards, and in the event missed both. After some minor mishaps, eventually came aboard @ 38p on Fri AM the 8th. Now settling down for an enjoyable ride, I hope.
