There are many stars in the sky, you just need to know which have planets orbiting around them, and which are barren.
JKX has planets and there is life.......
No disagreement with you on your points made, I hold long on most stock, but use a lesser amount to short term trade, of which JKX was. I neededto get in on them when I first took note some 2+ years back. The price I think was around 25p then. I didn't, I made an error then.
I try to trade the peaks and troughs with this and mostly suceed.
I have no problem with that strategy.
Having seen the volatility of this one of late, I suspect I'll be back sooner rather than later.

Well when you return SWW you will be greeted, no doubt, with open arms by other contributors to the thread. Good luck with your other endeavours.

SWW,
"JKX has planets and there is life....... "
Classic!
I wish you well but I think it may be better to remain in at the moment as there is decent volume, and maybe some news on the way? At least I hope so!
To be honest I've never been that successful at trading peaks and troughs, so I prefer to remain holding when I'm convinced a company will enhance shareholder value in the medium/long term.
SEY and JKX both fit into that category.

SWW,
I feel a breakout!
The chart is starting to look very positive, and I think the market is now taking notice of the increased production of nearly 30%, and the increased value of the $ v , which is also positive for JKX's revenues.

Could well be right Andy, certainly in unchartered territory at the mo.

SWW,
I gather you must still be out of JKX, sorry if you are.
If it's any consolation (and it probably isn't!), I was going to buy VPC this morning, but couldn't decide whether to buy or S/B. Watched the price go up, went out hoping for a dip, and came back to a higher price, so missed it!

I'm absolutely astonished that nobody seems to have noticed JKX' recent rise, it went up 16p, or 8% today!
We have a breakout from the 130 - 150 trading range, and are now close to 200p!
I think this is down to the market finally realising the significance of the recent announcement on M152, and JKX have M151 to announce any time.

Indeed...
Have you noticed that JKX seems to be off the radar of Shares Magazine? The sp has been hitting new highs for a number of weeks now but has not appeared in the 52-Week Highs section of the magazine. They do get a mention from time-to-time in the Prospector section but you'd think with a sp performance like this there'd be more coverage.

queen1,
Yes I agree, but maybe that is because they are ocasionally mentioning JKX in the Prospector's section?
I agree that JKX should be featured, but I think Shares only work with certain PR companies and brokers, and mainly feature their client's shares, and ignore most of the others.
Shares certainly seems to ignore some of the better shares, which questions their impartiality IMO.

Andy, what's going on with JKX these last few days? It appears to have reached the dizzy heights of 2 and then fallen off a cliff, even though the news is still full of oil price rises etc. Must confess to getting a bit nervous on these now...
