Marchpole is one of those stocks which have had a really bad time. Boardroom battles, losses, price collapse, profit warnings up the ying yang.

Now all of those things seem to be sorted out, new management are getting to grips, new contracts and the price is on the up. So much so that Monday ought to see a 50/200 day MA golden cross.

DYOR of course, but I think I will be putting a few of these away at the open.

Very close to breaking out of a double bottom reversal, any volume in the next couple of days should see it break into an uptrend.

Results due next Wednesday, expect EPS of 3p +

Heard a good report on Radio 5 this morn. There is a slight slowing down in the economy. White goods and tvs, stereos are normally the first to stop selling but clothes and food take a long time before they are hit particularly at the high end of the market,hope they are right.

Hard to explain, could be some uncertainty about the acquisition and how they intend to pay for it. Also this years order book isn't showing a great increase on last years. Management seems very optimistic and all brands seem to be doing well though.
Sold this am @23.25, think marchpole is a cracking company but sentiment is against it at the mo and that doesn't bode well for the sp.

got out at break even this time as i only bought in a few weeks back! Made a small profit last time round when i managed to get out mostly around the late twenties, although in hindsight... 36p would of been much better! lol

Bet you guys are pig sick, get back in the ride has only begun. Great figures, great margins and you get out, what do you want to see to stay in lol and good luck.

Market waiting for acquisition news and ist qtr trading before heading to next level of 45p imo. Never a better time to get on board and a nice 0.45 divi to pick up in september (0.7 for year)

what do i want to see?? easy, the share price going up not down. Remember it looks like they are going to lose one of the contracts, that needs to be replaced. good luck!

Saville Row suit designer Ozwald Boateng has launched a fresh legal claim against fashion group Marchpole in an attempt to end a three-year battle over suits sold under his name.
Boatang's company,Bespoke Couture,is demanding compensation from Marchpole,alleging it has failed to pay up after previous High Court decision in 2004,which it says,entitles it to ounspecified damages.
The long-running and tangled dispute centres on a range of Boatang's suits that were marketed by marchpole under an agreement first signed in 2002.
The row is threatening to become on of the longest in fashion history.
Both Boateng and Marchpole,headed by Greg Tufnell,brother of cricketer Phil,have issued legal claims against each other during the course of the dispute.
Both have claimed victory at various points.

MPH chart has been in downtrend from highs of 36p-37p.Slight bounce end of last week however reversal of downtrend yet to be confirmed.Interims due shortly, Financial Director,Company secretary recent have both gone which leaves questions about management board and what exactly is going on?
