THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Oi, driver - connected isn't good for me.
And it looks like wilbs captured you legless there a couple of times.

Think it's best for salamiman to fill you in with all the meaty bits, wilbs.
It'll take him less than a minute. He's good at that ;)

hewittalan6 - 16 Aug 2006 20:40 - 5127 of 81564

I just called that number.
I spent 20 minutes trying to get past a snotty receptionist and finally got an appointment for the same day as the opening ceremony for Londons Olympics.
Poetic justice.

I was thinking of volunteering to play doctor.

hewittalan6 - 16 Aug 2006 22:08 - 5129 of 81564

I will definitely be the nurse!!

bosley - 17 Aug 2006 01:14 - 5130 of 81564

i'll have work difficulties, mental distress and burnout please. i really do need a holiday, a break doing nothing, just lying on a quiet beach roasting myself in the sun, listening to the soft splashing of the sea. i should be here ....

soul traders - 17 Aug 2006 09:11 - 5131 of 81564

Bosley, burnout is the easiest disease in the whole world to fake, as there's no test for it! (Bright idea:- with my experience, maybe I should give tuition and charge for it!)

I should be "there" too, wherever "there" is - can't quite tell but it looks a lot like Boscombe Chine near Bournemouth. However, since watching the TV series "Surface" I'm scared to go near the water. What is that black thing in the sea anyway - looks scary to me.

driver - 17 Aug 2006 09:18 - 5132 of 81564

Bos
It not all its cracked up to be I just got back from Majorca so Im going away to Italy next Monday to give it another try.

I dont think I will be hiring a car though.

soul traders - 17 Aug 2006 09:33 - 5133 of 81564

Driver, they've missed a couple of warning signs; surely they could have arranged for some low-flying aircraft or old people crossing?

Watch out for the stags with big willies though!

driver - 17 Aug 2006 09:39 - 5134 of 81564

soul
I did notice that what is that stag doing?

hewittalan6 - 17 Aug 2006 09:40 - 5135 of 81564

Dunno, but the wife has been on Amazon looking for books on how to catch a stag, and lastminute.com looking for holidays in Italy.

driver - 17 Aug 2006 09:42 - 5136 of 81564

Al
You mean we could be on the same beach, or rock.

hewittalan6 - 17 Aug 2006 09:44 - 5137 of 81564

We might. The wife will be in the woods with a gun and tranqueliser darts.

driver - 17 Aug 2006 09:51 - 5138 of 81564

Al
Sounds familiar we can go on the beach and let them get on with it.

hewittalan6 - 17 Aug 2006 09:52 - 5139 of 81564

I'll ask her. Shes busy asking chemists if its possible to mix tranquelisers with viagra.

soul traders - 17 Aug 2006 09:54 - 5140 of 81564

Driver, that stag is proudly displaying the modification made to his nether regions by some enterprising Italian youth. He's got the horn in more ways than one.

driver - 17 Aug 2006 09:54 - 5141 of 81564

Al
She should have asked me, yes it is.
